Quick dessert to make for those of you who have been asking me for a sweet treat to eat without guilt. As a bonus, it also includes yogurt and fresh strawberries, which makes it more nutritious.
I didn’t even take a photo of the process because it’s really simple!
For the strawberry mousse, blend in a blender or mixer:
- 200g of strawberries (1 and a half boxes or so);
- 100g natural yogurt (I used light Greek);
- 100g light cream;
- 1 light strawberry gelatin prepared with a little less water than indicated on the packaging (use 200ml of boiling water and 200ml of cold water).
Beat everything and finally add drops of sweetener until you reach the level of sweetness that suits your taste. Put it 10 out of 10 and try it out.
Place in small jars (yields 6 large jars) or in a single container. Refrigerate until it hardens.
Prepare another light/diet strawberry gelatin (this one with the correct amount of water) and place it on top of the already hardened mousse. I didn’t use all the gelatin, I used half, the other half I took to freeze so as not to waste (just gelatin).
* For the traditional version, replace the sweetener with sugar or condensed milk.
