It’s been a while since I bought this rice. It is the 7 whole grain cereals from the Ráris brand. I’ve been trying to make lighter choices and lose a few pounds. I’ve been saying: there’s nothing better than a well-decorated dish to trick your stomach, right?
Revenue:
I boil 4 cups of water with 1/2 packet of powdered meat broth (it can be chicken or vegetable and if you don’t have time like me, make homemade broth which is much better).
I sauté two cloves of chopped garlic in a tiny bit of oil and before the garlic turns brown I add the rice, add 1 tablespoon full of dehydrated vinaigrette (sold in the seasoning department in many markets) and a dessert spoon (flat) of salt. I add 3/4 of the water with the broth and leave it on low heat with the pan semi-covered for about 1/2 hour or until the water almost dries. If necessary, add the rest of the water.
The freshness: I bought a hydroponic watercress that must have taken a few hits because the thing was huge! I plucked some leaves, made a bed and placed the shaped rice on it. I sprinkled a little blended sun-dried tomato sauce over the leaves (mix sun-dried tomato, oil and vinegar).
