Husband’s Chicken

No, my husband didn’t prepare this chicken (I wish!), but he kindly asked me to name the recipe that way because he loves this chicken!

Today I woke up “ruined”, my head hurts, my stomach is upset, I’m feeling weak, I’m completely exhausted, it’s impossible to make more fun! And what’s worse is that I wasn’t even hungover! All I needed was some light, colorful food to get things back on track!

I used a chicken breast cut into strips, seasoned as follows (this is the secret to success): 3 tablespoons of white vinegar, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of mustard, 1 tablespoon ( soup) of paprika, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt and pepper to taste (or a dessert spoon of complete seasoning).

I cooked it in water and salt (all together in the same pan because I was so lazy):

  • 2 large diced potatoes
  • 1 carrot in slices
  • a handful of pods

So I drained everything and set it aside.

I heated the non-stick pan with a tablespoon of butter then fried the chicken, added the vegetables, adjusted the salt. I finished with a handful of herbes de provence

It’s not like after lunch I was good at everything!!!
