The powerful Chanel is launching its new collection for the summer of the northern hemisphere, called “L’Été Papillon” (“The Butterfly Summer”), a line inspired, as the name suggests, on the wings of butterflies, resulting in an expl
otion of intense colors and shine that will certainly please women who
They love a more sophisticated and…warm look!
“L’été Papillon” offers everything from eyeshadow pencils, colorful and voluminous mascaras, glosses, and nail polishes.
Well, the French brand decided to leave classic tones such as nude, black and red aside and decided to throw itself into the trend of electrifying colors, taking advantage of the fact that summer is the season of strong and intense emotions, resulting in a collection with variations of blue, green, pink, and yellow, with emphasis on nail polishes, especially metallic teal (favorite since the last collection)
According to Chanel’s creative director of makeup, Peter Philips, the collection was entirely inspired by butterfly wings and the blue of the sky, which is why all items feature platinum tones, with touches of gold, metallic pinks, as well as bright blues and greens for eyes, just as we can see in the latest fashion shows in Europe.
For the lips, we can see lipsticks and glosses in peach and raspberry tones.
While the nails have three colors of metallic nail polish, an intense coral, a blue and a deep green.
Soft and shimmery eyeshadow sticks, an eyeshadow quartet, multidimensional mascara and long-lasting turquoise eyeliner are also part of Chanel’s new summer collection.
