From One Meal A Day To Two Meals A Day | My Experience
So recently i shared with everyone that one meal a day had started to not work so well for me after eating this way for around 8 months on a plant based vegan diet and that i had now switched to eating two meals a day aka 16/8 intermittent fasting.
And as i had explained in that video i was feeling way better eating two meals a day but i have noticed their has been quite a few pros and cons that i wanted to share with you all in this one meal a day to two meals a day experience video.
One of the cons i have noticed is that eating two meals a day takes up way more time in my day in comparison to one meal a day, it makes me less productive but it has helped me gain more muscle mass, reduced my stress levels and various other benefits.

Why not eat your 1st meal earlier than 12 or 2? Like between 8 and 10.

Great video!!!! Yes, I think you are right….. There are ups and downs to all eating regimens. I did OMAD for four months, then a 21 day raw food channel, and now have come to the conclusion of raw till 4 , but I am just eating raw food when I am actually hungry and not over eating. Then when I eat my cooked food I really appreciate it and enjoy it thoroughly being careful not to over eat at each sitting, my food digests much more quickly and I can get up and get busy again. I think it was either the Japanese or Chinese’s that day eat till you are two thirds full so your food has room to digest. But, for me it is learning self control conscious mindfulness of an I really hungry or am I just eating for pleasure. This is what I am working on for massive healing of my body. The not overindulging part …..I feel like this has been my greatest pitfall:-) Thank you so much for your great videos! Peace and blessings:-):-)
Hey bro, I been following you a while now. I am kind of curious to how your body would take a more anabolic based vegan diet. I follow this guy Doctestosterone. He was using meat based products, he eventually raised his testosterone a couple hundred points. Then following some advice he tried a vegan diet, that I can give you on request. The vegan regiment he followed is fairly easy, theres also a little bit of working out, very light in terms of time. If you're interested, just let me know. Also flax seeds are literally poison to your anabolic hormones. Look up Christopher Walker, and his video on Flax Seeds. You could be foiling your efforts. Also avoid any fruit juices, or anything with fructose and its derivatives.
I don’t think it’s optimal stay on 3000/4000 calories in OMAD, overall eating dense food like fats, industrial food, grains ecc.
Two meals a day is fine as long as you take the least of carbs and ultimately are moving towards one meal a day. I watched your, what you eat video the other day and that would have been way too much food for me. Try keep it balanced and eat only as much as you need. You will have to find out for yourself what that is.

I like to eat OMAD Monday to Friday and Two meals on Saturday and Sunday, this works for me

Yes, that OMAD is amazing and enjoyable!
After several months on OMAD, eating such a large meal is uncomfortable and difficult to get enough protein. I am currently trying 1st meal at 4pm and 2nd around 7:30pm. Smaller meals and still 20 hors a day of intermittent fasting.
I want to try eating at 5AM or 6AM. Before when I've tried that without IF or OMAD it was a fantastic experience. Maybe you should try eating 2 meals a day with a wider window between meals, so you get hungry and your body digests the food you've eaten 100%. I am doing One Meal A Day and would like to try eating at 5-6 AM instead of 7PM.
I have been doing IF since last December and am used to it now, it was just the first 6 weeks I found hard feeling very hungry in Eavning but that passed when I just eat more in the window, sometimes I do OMAD but mostly it's 2 meals a day with minimum 18 hour fast, what I find though is when I'm visiting other people it can screw it all up as sometimes we are drinking till late or they don't eat till late, I can't be bothered explaining IF to them as they don't understand and eat fast foods and Mcdonnalds, I worry they think I'm preaching so I have to loosen up a bit if I'm socialising , but I'm not giving up on IF I totally be live in it, I just find alot of resistance, criticism and negative uninformed comments from others, I just don't bother talking about it and have to fit eating around them if I'm hanging out with them, I recently went on holiday with someone and my IF and eating window was casing tension between us, it's easier to do alone.
One meal a day is the way. However, nothing wrong with experimenting… that's how we become the greatest version of ourselves.

3000 or 4000 would make you gain fat.even if u do omad.im just getting tired of fad diets.
Why do you need to do the same thing everyday?
Eat 1 meal some days and 2 on the days you feel you need extra food.
This is more intuitive and causes less anxiety. There’s no need to identify with being an omad person or 2mad.

Hi Danny, thanks for another great video. I'm plant based/vegan but only discovered your channel a week or so ago and I'm learning a lot from the videos I'm watching, so thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge and experience. I did a three-day watermelon juice cleanse that ended on Sunday and since then I've been IF and eat my first meal at around 2pm and then again at 6pm and finish by 7pm. I feel pretty good and I'm not hungry at all in the mornings as I'm eating like a horse during my eating window. Ist meal is a large bowl of fruit (pineapple or mango), and the 2nd meal is cooked with vegetables and rice and maybe a curry. I have a large banana, blackberry or strawberry and protein powder smoothie in between meals 1 and 2. I find that I feel better doing my calisthenics training in the morning when I'm fasting. Is there any negative effects of doing this?

For your second meal, if you're not hungry but need to get those nutrients (especially from greens) in, would juicing them work?
For two meals a day: 7 am and between 1 and 2 are good times to eat. Give your stomach 5 to 6 hours between meals (especially with cooked foods). Be done eating by 3 every day. So if you go to bed at let's say 8 your vital organs are not working while you are asleep during those crucial early night hours.
