Jean Haner, an expert in face reading and author of the book “The Wisdom of the Face”, gives some tips on what lips can reveal.

1. Medium lips
Medium lips are not too thick and not too thin. The Cupid’s bow isn’t very defined, but it doesn’t lack definition either.
If you have lips like this, it means you are generally balanced in your relationships. You can maintain your posture and don’t act too much when something doesn’t go well. You are not needy or clingy, but you seek a certain sense of connection in relationships.

2. Full lower and upper lips
This lip shape correlates with a strong desire to be a mother and shows how much you care about others. These lips represent charitable people, who put others first and find great joy in doing so.
Furthermore, people with this lip shape also like to maintain a good circle of friends and a good connection with others, valuing relationships a lot.

3. Thin lower and upper lips
Women who have this lip shape tend to deal well with loneliness and don’t feel the need to be glued to someone all the time.
Furthermore, they also don’t speak the language of relationships, however, that doesn’t mean they can’t find someone for life.

4. Lips with a very well-defined Cupid’s bow
Women who have lips with a very well-defined Cupid’s bow are good communicators, think quickly and are very creative.
Because they think quickly, they can also be too impulsive and not think before speaking.

5. Lips with a rounded cupid’s bow
Lips that have a rounded Cupid’s bow point to extremely kind people. They are generally more compassionate, dedicate their time to people and are very caring.

6. Lips with an undefined cupid’s bow
This is a sign of someone who may truly have no emotional boundaries. These people can give themselves excessively and not practice self-care.
They are often responsible people, but they also need to realize that it is not always their job to take care of certain problems.

7. Naturally fuller lips in the lower center and top
People who have these lips are usually born artists and, at some point, they will end up being the center of attention. They generally like attention, don’t like being alone and can be dramatic in relationships.
Having the center of the lower and upper lips fuller can also be linked to someone who tends to be very pious towards themselves. Thinness at the corners means these people are fun-loving.

8. Small mouth with naturally fuller lips
People with this lip shape tend to focus more on themselves at the beginning of relationships, but once they feel that their partner has paid attention to their needs, they will start to think about them more.
Women with a small mouth and thin lips, on the other hand, often find relationships difficult because they don’t feel a strong need for connection with other people. It may take some time for them to get used to it.

9. Extremely thin upper lips and thin lower lips
This type of person values work and achievement much more than relationships and has a very strong personality.
These women may have difficulty in relationships and may not relax much, because for them life is based on getting somewhere.
Interestingly, 60% of men have a mouth like this, says Haner.
10. Wide mouth and normal or full lips
Women with wide mouths and normal or full lips are generous and are always thinking about what they can do to help.
The face reading expert also says that it is important to observe what happens to your mouth during the day. If your lips are tense, it is a reflection of difficulties in your relationships.
