Red Beach

Praia Vermelha has clay that comes from the slopes and makes the beach colorful, hence its name. It is 600 m long and is the furthest beach from the Zimbros coast, also accessible via the Zimbros Coastal Trail, as well as most of the beaches south of Bombinhas.

Due to its great distance, it is the most deserted of all the beaches, with no infrastructure.

There are those who believe in the medicinal power of its red sands.

Sad Beach

Praia Triste has a somewhat sad setting and that’s why it gets its name, but despite this, its natural beauty is part of a 380 m stretch of beach that is not very visited.

It is on the continuation of the Costeira de Zimbros trail, after passing through Praia de Cardoso and Praia da Lagoa. Its waters are calm and peaceful and good for a swim in the sea, taking advantage of the region’s more deserted climate.

It is the last beach on the Zimbros Coastal Trail, if you want to do the entire route.

Lagoa Beach
