Vila Capivari is one of the most visited places in Campos do Jordão, as it has restaurants, shops and squares that offer leisure options for all tastes and styles alongside houses made in a Germanic style.

At the end of the afternoon, the bars are full of people who want to have a happy hour or just enjoy the beauty of the place along with the big crowd.

ATV Tour

In addition to jeep rides, pony rides, trams and trains, you can ride an ATV in Campos do Jordão and take the opportunity to discover even more of the landscape.

It takes two hours or even the whole day passing along dirt roads that show trails, waterfalls and even places to practice extreme sports.

But if instead of riding a jeep or cable car you want to take the traditional train, in Campos do Jordão you can take a two and a half hour ride and go to Alto do Lageado, at an altitude of 1,743 meters.

The train leaves from Emílio Ribas station, in Vila Capivari. The tip is to take advantage and buy honey, propolis and goat’s milk in Santo Antônio do Pinhal, during the tour.

How about a jeep tour in Campos do Jordão? You can get to Pedra do Baú by jeep, taking advantage of the seven route itinerary options that can last from two hours to a whole day.

Along the way the landscape is very beautiful and is divided into lakes, streams, among other options.

Tram Tour

Those who cannot do without the old pleasures of life should take advantage of the tram ride in Campos do Jordão.

It’s a 40-minute walk, leaving Vila Capivari, on Av. Dr. Emílio Ribas, and going to the São Cristóvão neighborhood.

But anyone who wants to take the opportunity to take a ride on the Maria-Fumaça instead of the tram should go in July, when the tram is replaced.

Forest Garden

The Horto Florestal de Campos do Jordão is known for having the largest number of araucaria trees in the state of São Paulo, having 8,000 hectares and also has options for hiking, cycling and waterfalls.

Access is via Av. Pedro Paulo and the location is 13 km from Capivari.

Chest Stone

Accessible via the road that goes to São Bento do Sapucaí, km 17, Pedra do Baú forms a group with the Bauzinho and Ana Chata stones, helping to frame the city of Campos do Jordão.

The Rock is 1,950 meters high and is widely used by those who like to practice extreme sports (climbing, mountaineering, rappelling, trekking).

Tarundu Leisure Center

The Tarundu Leisure Center is located on Av. Ernesto Diederichsen and is an equestrian facility that offers horse and pony rides, as well as minigolf, archery, paintball, Orbit Ball and a 430-meter zip line. In July there is also an option for ice skating.

While the little ones play, parents can count on a local restaurant.

Amantikir

Located on Estrada Paulo Costa Lenz César, Km 2.8, Amantikir was opened in 2007 and is a park with 17 gardens with the most varied species from countries such as Japan, Germany, Australia, etc.

It is possible to take guided tours or go alone and just enjoy the place and take photos of the beautiful landscape.

winter’s festival

Going to Campos do Jordão for the Winter Festival is a great option, as every July you can enjoy an event with classical music.

In existence since 1969, the festival attracts instrumentalists from all over the country and also from abroad with a varied program of attractions and workshops for musicians. It takes place at the Cláudio Santoro Auditorium and there are also extra shows at Praça Capivari and Palácio Boa Vista, as well as other places. Some of these events are free.
