Sunset is one of the most beautiful attractions in Jeri. Its location privileges a giant sun that gets even bigger over the dunes, especially the Pôr do Sol dune with around 30 meters, located on the left stretch of Jericoacoara beach. Tatajuba Ruins
This beach, famous for its history, in which it was completely buried by sand and rebuilt on the other side of the river, still contains the ruins of the event. Around there are coconut trees, dunes, calm coves and the Torta Lagoon with greenish waters. The stretch is part of the Environmental Protection Area and is between Jeri and Camocim.
Buggy to Jijoca
Half an hour by buggy is enough to reach this delicious lagoon with green waters. Take the time to divide between the two sides, Lagoa Azul and Paraíso. One is quieter and deserted, perfect for raft trips, the other is busier with kitesurfers doing radical maneuvers and restaurants serving typical dishes.
Quadricycle
A fun tour can be taken with quad bikes to the Paraíso and Azul lagoons, with a stop for contemplation and bathing. Head to the ruins of Tatajuba to close the tour with a flourish. Another trip full of adventure is the journey to Lagoa do Cavalo Marinho, crossing Praia do Mangue. Set aside a day for the tours.
Craftsmanship
Crafts are present in Jeri, doing justice to its rusticity. In addition to the handcrafted decoration constantly found in hotels, inns and restaurants, products made by artisans stand out among gift options.
Various shops selling decoration products, clothing and even utilities can be found along the sandy streets of Jeri. There are bags, accessories, clay and ceramic sculptures and lamps made by hand with native fibers and leaves. The grocery stores on Main Street also invite you to buy delicious banana pies, a tradition in Jeri.
