Home remedies for vaginal infection have antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, which help to eliminate the microorganism that causes the infection and relieve symptoms.
These remedies should be used as a complement to the treatment indicated by the gynecologist.
Vaginal infection corresponds to any infection or inflammation that affects the vulva, vagina or cervix, being caused mainly by Candida, Gardnerella vaginalis or Trichomonas vaginalis, for example. The most common symptoms of vaginal infection are pain and burning when urinating, pelvic pain, pain during intercourse and discharge. See more symptoms of vaginal infection.
