Buenos Aires is usually the first international destination for many Brazilians due to its proximity and ease of communication in Spanish (or starting a famous “portunhol”), but the capital of Argentina is full of history, must-see attractions and many modern and unusual places. .
I have been in Buenos Aires on other occasions, now, this is just a passage: our destination is Mendoza and we will be in just under a day in the Argentine capital. But, despite the urgency of making this type of “stop”, you have two great experiences that I cannot stop sharing with you!
Before leaving Brazil, a beautiful day…
I’m tired of saying that there’s something absurd or that most of the Brazilian airports have to eat whatever they want (with the exception of the BH airport, as I have said in another post) but, finally, there is a light at the end of the tunnel at the International Airport Salgado Filho! No international shipment, we find Bel Galeto, the filhote of the most consecrated house of galeto and masses in Serra, Di Paolo, and I tell you: food of excellent quality, fair price and delicious! Let’s go and let’s see how people tell us how – we adore us!
Vá lá: Bel Galeto
Endereço: Embarque Internacional do Aeroporto Salgado Filho – Av. Severo Dullius, 90010 – Porto Alegre/RS
Hours: Every day, 6am to 11pm.

Outra dica precious: bad
There are some precautions that you should take into account when traveling internationally: packing your bottles of liquids. In Brazil, the National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac) stipulates that, in international flights, liquids must be placed in a prohibited transparent plastic packaging, such as zip loc. The packaging cannot exceed the dimensions of 20×20 cm. According to Anac, all liquids, including gel, paste, cream, spray and similar, must be carried in bottles with a capacity of 100 ml and cannot exceed a capacity of one liter. Please note that you do not have to worry about isso at the time of shipment – imagine that you have to open incorrectly, pack everything, pack for products that exceed 100 ml or need to ship a defective item which would be of no use….
Buenos Aires: where we stayed
We checked from the airport to the taxi hotel – we tried to book an Uber but we verified that it would take more time to pick up a taxi – find out that the trip is scheduled for Buenos Aires, a city known for its friendly taxi fare. 😉
We stayed there Splendor Palermo Hollywood, a great hotel located in the heart of Palermo, in two nicest neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. The hotel is super well located: it is located three quarters from Avenida Santa Fé, close to local shops, bars and restaurants in the city. For tourists, more than one advantage: it is appropriate for the metro station. The hotel has a comfortable environment, with modern design and all rooms are decorated with good taste, and some include varanda and bathroom with banheira.
Another great hotel is the Sofitel Buenos Aires, which is right on the Florist’s door and is another super lodging option in Buenos Aires! Já fiquei por la e vat a lot of pain! 😉
Says a great place in Buenos Aires: a fantastic Atlântico Florist
After checking in to leave our bad times, we set out to walk through Palermo, which is always the latest program to be held in Buenos Aires and we fight the streets of Costa Rica, Honduras, El Salvador and others, which was our goal for Late and late, at night, we took an Uber and headed to the famous Florería Atlântico! A Florería is an incredible place to eat, have good drinks and see people – we have already posted a post indicating the place is not Intemperate and we love it all! The place is a mix of bar, floriculture and gastropub, and also sells good wines and vinyl records. To face Buenos Aires!
Florería Atlântico operates every day from 10am and on Saturdays it opens at 11am. A diferença fica por conta de um bunker mysterious that keeps loud music and extraordinary drinks after 7 p.m. under the bar concept speakeasythose secret places created to sell alcoholic beverages in the United States during the Prohibition Era (Lei Seca) in the 1920s.
The door of the bar is discreet and practically imperceptible within the floriculture, to reveal the secret it is enough to ask for help from some of the florists who will open what seems like the way to a cold chamber where the rarest flowers of the store would supposedly be kept, but na It really hides a staircase to the underground.
A warning: the bar is disputed and is always full of locals and tourists, who dispute an 18-meter balcony space and its tables. It is necessary to check or reserve a table for the evening. We checked out at 8pm and the locations were all busy – we had a wait of about 20 minutes to get the premises to night – what a night! Let’s have a great sort of ficarmos on the balcony, accompanying the work of two bartenders and beating a bom papo with them on the place and so we have a little more on the art of preparing flirty bons!
The bar has a rustic and unfinished atmosphere, but has super interesting decoration, in a contemporary style and with an industrial touch. The theme of the bar is nautical and don’t be surprised if you notice that the walls are craggy. The music increases in volume as the hours go by and the musical style also changes. On the night I was playing some very cool tangos and on the way out a lounge was already falling for dance music. This environment makes the place very pleasant (normally I don’t like loud music, but it was perfect). The light will decrease as the tempo passes, the music will increase in volume and the local area will become different. We had great drinks and the food was indescribably tasty – we ordered Prato Atlântico (photo below) and, afterwards, a pizza!
In short: there is nothing that this bar is considered one of the best in the city. Always cool, pitoresque, on a beautiful flower garden on charming street. The cardápio drinks are cataloged by country. France has champagne as a base, England has whiskey, Poland has vodka etc… It is worth experimenting, in the end, Buenos Aires is one of the cities-reference in the world that says respect for good drinks! At the same time, everything is served with mineral water along with drinks – it means that only experts know when it comes to livening up the hangover the next day. 🙂
