Today we continue our unforgettable journey through Mendoza, discovering great Argentine wineries and taking great gastronomic tours! Let’s find out how it was and schedule your trip!
Starting the day…
We agreed to give in and have coffee today at our fantastic hotel, or The Vines Resort & Spa! The resort offers a coffee with two deuses, with pancakes, mixed eggs and the greatest variety of fresh products possible, with a first-class service. Perfect to start a day of tasting – the best: the sun appears and, on this day, we can visit Cordilheira dos Andes! What a joy! 🙂
The Vines Winery
To start today, let’s meet The Vines winery! Nossa concierge Carolina found us at the hotel and we were greeted by Diego, who guided us through the winery and explained how the wines are produced there. Since 2004, anyone can make or dream of their own wine and produce their own wines to share with friends and family… Too much, right? O que eles chamam de Private Vineyard (Vinhedo Privado) has 180 followers around the world all that the people of The Vines professionally manage the vinhas for them, which curtem very much the final product. Let’s try some of the wines produced by them and find very good ones! 🙂

The enemy
Our second tour of the day was at El Enemigo winery, one of the most visited in Mendoza, for sure! Our biker Jorge looked for us at The Vines and we set out to meet The Enemy, where we made a quick visit for explanations and curiosities about the wine and its production, so that we were most interested in the harmonized meal. What a lunch! Simply fabulous, despite our preference for longer menus and smaller quantities, which only happens at night in The Enemy. No lunch or menu of three dishes, all very well prepared and huge.
The winery is led by oenologist Alejandro Vigil, one of the best in the world. Our wines are included and we have a wonderful meal – special highlight for the minha desktop of marmelo and red wine… Two wines we all know and approve of Bonarda! The staff is very attentive and does not leave anything missing. For an unforgettable experience in the whole work!

Where we stay
After experiencing the fantastic The Vines, we decided to head to the center of Mendoza and stay at the Park Hyatt Mendoza. The hotel is super central and allows you to do everything easily in the city. Comfort and service to a certain extent, with the best cost/benefit from the Hyatt father, very nice and pleasant. What we believe is more legal is that, despite the hotel being five stars, there is no snobbery at all.
Hyatt amenities include a spa, academy, casino, pool and several restaurants. The room is huge, with a large spacious closet and views of the Cordilheira dos Andes. A very positive surprise for me!
Oregano
At night I asked for a lighter meal, so we sent to see Francis Mallmann’s pizza in Orégano! We walked from the hotel to the hotel and spent a lot of time discovering a few streets in Mendoza, a very pretty and tree-lined city!
But let’s go back to Orégano: the place is beautiful, with a modern decoration with that industrial touch that left us delighted. All the spaces are connected in some way, creating an interesting symbiosis, and the kitchens work in an open environment and the logo at the entrance of the restaurant – we love it because it ends with that old-fashioned concept of a compartmentalized restaurant. We can see our excellent pizza being prepared – we choose with tomato paste, goat queijo, manjericão pesto, broccoli and reggio queijo. What a delight!
