Who travels to Orlando There are dozens of leisure options in addition to the parks, one of which is have breakfast with Mickey at Disney. We had this experience on our most recent trip to the USA and we tell you everything here on the blog.
BREAKFAST WITH MICKEY AT DISNEY
Of course, at Disney what we see most is Mickey and his friends. Everywhere we turn there are the two most famous ears in the world. Still, for some children, and even adults, Living an experience closer to the characters is even more exciting.
CHEF MICKEY’S
As we were traveling with a 3 year old child, we decided book breakfast at Chef Mickey’swith the presence of Mickey and his friends Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald Duck.
Breakfast with Mickey takes place at Disney’s Contemporary Resortwhich is located inside the Disney complex, close to the Magic Kingdom. You don’t have to be a hotel guest to enjoy the coffee.
The ideal is to book via the website or app., as it tends to be crowded. However, I was with four other people and two of them didn’t have a reservation, so they let everyone in.
VALUES
Before talking about the menu, let’s talk about the price. Like everything at Disney, It’s not cheap to have breakfast with Mickey. Adults need to shell out US$40 + taxes + service and children pay US$24 + taxes + service.
MENU
Although it is inspired by American cuisine, breakfast even offers good options, such as smoked salmon, for example, some types of scrambled eggs, pancakes, waffles (in the shape of Mickey), donuts, fresh fruit, bacon and other options.
EXPERIENCE
Our breakfast with Mickey was so much fun. The service was good and the characters were attentive and friendly. They go from table to table and take photos with the children. Even for those who have purchased Disney’s Memory Maker (which entitles them to take photos with the official photographers) it is necessary to bring their own camera or cell phone, as there were no photographers inside accompanying the characters.
As I had done birthday a few days before, they took a cupcake especial for me and one card autographed by the characters.
It wasn’t a cheap experience and I wouldn’t have done it if I hadn’t been traveling with a three-year-old who loved having breakfast with Mickey, Minnie and Donald Duck.
In addition to breakfast, it is possible to book brunch and dinner in this same restaurant.
