Guide to visiting Disney Hollywood in Orlando

Guide to visiting Disney Hollywood in Orlando

North America

Disney Hollywood is the Mickey Mouse version of Universal Studios. This means that you will take a trip to the classics and the magic of cinema in the form of a theme park. The attractions there are more aimed at demonstrating special effects and remembering big box office hits than at getting your adrenaline pumping. However, fans of butterflies also find their place here and there. Other than that, expect to see lots of shows and demonstrations based on your favorite movies. To make your life easier, we have prepared a park guide to help you organize your day and choose attractions.

In addition to being a park, Disney Hollywood also functions as a TV studio. Several North American television programs are recorded there, between one toy and another.

Attention: It is not a good idea to travel to the United States without international health insurance, as hospital costs there are very high. Read here how to find cost-effective insurance.

Itinerary to explore Disney Hollywood

I give this tip in every post about theme parks: start with your favorite attraction. Then, explore the rest of the area where it is located and follow the path clockwise or counterclockwise. At Disney parks, all visitors have the right to schedule a time to visit three attractions (read more at the link below), thus avoiding the common queues. Make use of it! If you go in high season, arrive early and head to the busiest ride. In the case of Hollywood, the biggest queues tend to be for Toy Story and the Rock n’ Roller roller coaster.
