When you are in one of the most important metropolises in the world, the gastronomy It will certainly be one of the traveler’s focal points. We therefore decided to list the best restaurants in NY, considered by experts on the subject and who live in the spotlight. I went to all of them and leave my opinion here.
By far, the restaurant that presents the most original cuisine I’ve ever been to. Chef Daniel Humm surprises diners with each dish, like a carrot that is grated at the table to compose the steak tartare vegetarian.
The waiters circulate like dancers in a perfectly choreographed number. And to top it off, the restaurant is in front of the beautiful Madison Square Park. The ceilings are high and the room has large windows through which light shines in on New York summer nights. Fun and delicious!

Opened in 1986 and specializing in seafood, it offers various types of menus, always with a French touch. For those who are fans of fish and the like, it will be a memorable meal, led by chef Eric Ripert.

In the list of 50 Best It’s number 18, but it was my favorite on the list, seafood lover that I am. Sophisticated without being snobbish. Average of US$160 per person.
Another sophisticated French dish that offers one surprise after another at meals. In one of the most elegant areas of Manhanttan, Central Park South, the atmosphere is clean and very tasteful and the staff is very friendly. Figure in list of the 50 best restaurants in the world, is run by one of the most renowned chefs in NY. The tip is to go at lunch time, when the price drops considerably. Average of US$166 per person.

Highlights include typical Mediterranean antipasti and seafood pasta. Marea has two Michelin stars and the seal Castles Relay. Average of US$117 per person.
The most expensive and most formal on the list is in the small and friendly Time Warner Center shopping mall, in Columbus Circle. A mix of French and contemporary American, it only offers a tasting menu (with nine courses) and the use of a jacket is mandatory.
With three stars Michelin and an award-winning wine list, also bears the seal Castles Relay. Average of US$340 per person.
