Three days in advance, I finally got two seats at the counter, in the bold house in the East Village. Super comfortable and with great space between diners, it is therefore where you can get the complete experience, watching the meticulous preparation of the dishes.

By far, certainly the restaurant that presents the most original cuisine of the best restaurants in NYC. Not surprisingly, it is considered the best restaurant in the world on the list of the 50 Best of 2017 and has 3 Michelin stars. Chef Daniel Humm surprises diners with each dish, for example, with a grated carrot at the table to compose the steak tartare vegetarian. The waiters circulate like dancers in a perfectly choreographed number.

The Bernardine

Opened in 1986 and specializing mainly in seafood, it offers various types of menus, always with a French touch. For those who are fans of fish and the like, it will certainly be a memorable meal, led by chef Eric Ripert. Attentive service and an elegant atmosphere in Midtown make Le Bernardin maintain its three Michelin stars since 2005. One of my favorite restaurants no world.

In the list of 50 Best It’s number 36 (in 2019), however it was one of my favorites in our selection of the best restaurants in NYC. Probably because of the seafood lover that I am. Sophisticated without being snobbish. Furthermore, a price that is worth the delivery. Average of US$160 per person.

In one of the most sought-after areas of Manhattan, Central Park South, the atmosphere is clean and very tasteful. Furthermore, the staff is very efficient.

The tip is to go at lunch time, when the price certainly drops considerably. At dinner, an average of US$148 per person for the three-course menu and US$238 for the chef’s special menu. Jean Georges recently opened in London, at The Connaught, a historic hotel in Mayfair.

And in Brazil, it is possible to experience the famous chef’s cuisine in São Paulo, at the magnificent Palácio Tangará hotel, at the Tangará Jean-Georges restaurant.

Per Se, one of the best restaurants in NYC

Certainly the most expensive and formal on the list of best restaurants in NYC, it is located in the small and friendly Time Warner Center shopping center, in Columbus Circle. A mix of French and contemporary American, it therefore only offers a tasting menu (with nine courses and a vegetarian option) and the use of a jacket is mandatory. With three Michelin stars and yet an award-winning wine list, bears the Relais Chateaux seal. Average of US$340 per person.

With three Michelin stars, the restaurant is led by renowned chef Daniel Boulud. It is located on the Upper East Side, between 60th and 65th streetsth Street, in a building that was once a hotel, and bears the Relais & Chateaux seal, a guarantee of quality and sophistication. The building has neoclassical architecture and the hall is truly stunning! The chef, who started cooking as a teenager, states that he “works with the best American products in accordance with French culinary tradition”. Furthermore, the service is impeccable!
