1) Another Paradise

The first on our list that will help you know where to eat in New York is this excellent Italian restaurant. Opened in 2016 under the command of renowned chef Ignacio Mattos, the menu is inspired by different regions of Italy. Our editor-in-chief Renata Araújo ate a delicious Cacio e Peppe there, in fact. The atmosphere is elegant and spacious, with a beautiful bar and large windows through which plenty of natural light enters. Furthermore, the staff is very friendly.

One of the best known of New YorkIt’s difficult to make reservations, but it’s worth waiting a while to get a table, not only for the great food, but also for the fun atmosphere. Always full of people – and lots of tourists, it’s worth mentioning – it’s full of buzz. Opened in 1977, the authentic brasserie French has already become a tradition in Big Apple. Seafood, including oysters, is a must and French sweets too.

4) Dean and Deluca *CLOSED*

A charming delicatessen both to buy and take away, as well as to eat there. Who watched the series Felicity? Remember that the protagonist worked there? Another tradition in NYC, opened in 1977, right in Soho. Today, there are several addresses in the city. During the day, it is quite common to see New Yorkers there buying their lunch or snack and eating it on the street or taking it to work. Opened by two brothers, who give the establishment its name, the brand knew how to not only maintain itself, but renew itself over the decades. There are several stores spread across the USA and some even in other countries, such as Dubai and Turkey.

6) The Dutch

Neighboring Balthazar, this modern and relaxed restaurant serves contemporary American cuisine and is always busy. The owners also own other establishments in the city, such as Locanda Verde, Joe’s Pub, The Library at The Public, Lafayette and Bar Primi. All places are successful, so you can know that they understand the business. A pleasant American restaurant with Italian touches, led by chef Andrew Carmellini, author of some cookbooks. The Dutch is also located at the W Hotel in Miami and you can read more about it here at this link.

Ideal for enjoying a sweet treat and chatting with friends. It’s not exactly a place for lunch or dinner, but I wanted to include it on this list of restaurants in Soho, as it’s worth a stop for tea accompanied by a sweet treat.
