Let’s visit the sophisticated bar today Mandarin Oriental Miamione of the best hotels in the city.
Facing the skyline of Brickell Av, the financial heart of Miamiwhere the hotel is located, and towards the bay, the bar offers a fantastic view. Seeing the sunset there while having a drink makes anyone relax and forget about everyday problems.
I was the first Brazilian journalist to learn about the MO Bar and I loved it! With modern and discreet decor, we don’t even remember that we are in the hotel lobby, which also has the excellent Azul restaurant and the recently opened La Mar, led by the award-winning Peruvian chef Gaston Acurio, winner of the title of best restaurant in America Latina with its establishment in Lima.
O mixologista Angelo Vieira, ex The Florida Room e Sunset Lounge, was called to create the atmosphere of an authentic bar, not just a hotel bar. He is responsible for combining classic drinks with more modern mixes.
On the day, I was craving Japanese, so it was perfect to be able to try the different rolls that the menu offers. The Japanese sake was fantastic and they even brought us a delicious tiramisu with extra chocolates as a surprise. Everything we needed to end the night.
MO Bar also features live music twice a week to complete the soft lounge atmosphere, with the soundtrack ranging from jazz to Latin rhythms.
Remembering that if you buy our Miami digital guidecompete for two nights of this wonderful hotelbeing able to get to know not only the MO Bar up close, but also its other wonders!
