In a city with a lively nightlife and where many tourists go on vacation, it is not an easy task to find a restaurant with a true gastronomic vocation. In fact, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon arrived to break this prejudice. Once there, you are immediately transported to Paris, with impeccable service and impeccable presentation of the dishes. In addition to, obviously, excellent cuisine created by the chef who left us four years ago but who has certainly made his mark. The best restaurant in Miami

L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon is located in the Design District, close to Midtown, a neighborhood with luxury brands, considered Florida’s Rodeo Drive. Furthermore, it is one of the regions that has developed the most and become more sophisticated! Therefore, it offers a beautiful tour for tourists passing through the city.

We made a reservation for the counter, which is always very elegant, and from where the diner can observe in detail the artistic work of the cooks. Miami’s finest restaurant offers a modern French menu featuring iconic signature dishes as well as new seasonal creations. We opted for the three-course menu, the Winter Menu, plus dessert.

The dishes

The options are varied and balanced, and please all tastes. There is a lot of seafood, fish, but also meat and vegetarian dishes. Among the delicious dishes we tried, for example, were foie gras with parmesan foam, Key West shrimp and scallops served in coriander broth, coconut emulsion and squid.

Among the main dishes, highlights include the Atlantic Halibut with caviar, leek fondue and marine velouté, and the filet mignon with maïtake mushrooms and black garlic aioli.

Meanwhile, the desserts were inventive and just the right amount of sweet. The Guanaja chocolate crémeux, with white chocolate ice cream and Oreo cookie crumble completely satisfied this chocoholic who writes to you.

In fact, right below L’atelier Joel Robuchon, is Le Jardinier, the chef’s most relaxed restaurant. Also a great tip in the Design District.

Another good restaurant from the chef

Indeed, it was a pleasant and delicious evening, in every way! Where haute cuisine reigned and made us think that Miami could indeed be a destination for those looking to eat well!
