Instagrammable Japanese bar and restaurant in Brickell
London’s Sexy Fish opened in 2015 in Mayfair and has since attracted celebrities, locals and travelers from all over the world. Owner Richard Caring is behind some of the most popular restaurants in the British capital, such as The Ivy. Therefore, he arrived in Miami imposing and, in fact, with everything to become one of the hotspots of the city.

The design is by award-winning Martin Brudnizki Studio, featuring original artwork by legendary British artist Damien Hirst, as well as an installation by architect and designer Frank Gehry. The 26 beautiful fish lamps play – and sway – beautifully to the theme. In addition, the spaces also feature 3-meter-high mermaid sculptures, bathroom sinks placed on top of mermaid and octopus tails and a fish tank filled with corals and tropical fish. Impressive!

Sexy Fish’s menu
The menu, created by starred chef Björn Weissgerber, certainly highlights fish and seafood. There are cold and hot dishes, salads, tartars, sushi and rolls as well as meats. To drink, an extensive wine and champagne list and a variety of drinks with unusual combinations such as pineapple and coriander, and cherry and almonds.
As the night falls, the bar becomes even more lively with a DJ and mermaid dancers!
