Canopy Jardins – hotel from Hilton’s new lifestyle brand

South America

I stayed the other day at the brand new Canopy Jardins – hotel from Hilton’s new lifestyle brand. There are 98 rooms, in a modern and attractive environment, with a good restaurant, rooftop and gym. Furthermore, the service is attentive and the location is very central, as it is surrounded by cultural attractions, bars and restaurants. To top it off, it is committed to sustainability and is the first Canopy hotel in South America. Enjoy and also read about Roi Mediterranée, the new restaurant at CJ Shops and the cool Italian Nelita.

Location

The hotel from Hilton’s new lifestyle brand is located on a friendly cul-de-sac. It is between two of the city’s main roads: Brigadeiro Luis Antônio and Nove de Julho. Therefore, a ten-minute walk from MASP (São Paulo Art Museum), close to the Ema Gordon Klabin Cultural Foundation and a fifteen-minute walk from Rua Oscar Freire. It is also possible to reach Ibirapuera Park on foot, after a twenty-minute walk. Therefore, a very strategic address in cosmopolitan São Paulo. In fact, like all Canopy hotels, it is very well located in its neighborhood and interacts with local businesses.

Art at Canopy by Hilton São Paulo

The hotel from Hilton’s new lifestyle brand exudes art. First of all, it has two humorous murals painted by street artist Speto. Furthermore, the spaces contain references from renowned Brazilian architects, such as Paulo Mendes da Rocha. The furniture is designer and the colors are inspired by our multicultural Brazil.

The accommodations

The hotel has 98 rooms, fifteen of which have camas queen and seven suites. They are divided into four categories. The accommodations are comfortable and equipped with what modern travelers need, such as several USB ports. Meanwhile, flat screen TVs are 55 inches. The beds are king size and the mattresses are designed with support and temperature control technology. There is also the frame canopy exclusive to the brand, on top of the bed, as if it were a “protection”, since in English, canopy to mean I got you covered (“I’m here with you,” something like that).

The rooms have pastel colors and the closets are open. At first I thought it was strange, but then I liked that my suitcase fit neatly on the shelf and also that I could see the clothes before putting them on. Additionally, in each room, there are Canopy bathrobes and slippers, both gray.

In my suite, there was a living room with a sofa, desk, small table and TV and another closet. The bathroom was equally spacious, with two sinks, a large counter, a bathtub and a great shower.

The hotel’s gastronomy from Hilton’s new lifestyle brand

Or nice Stella restaurant It is very well lit and airy, with tables on the balcony. Serving Brazilian cuisine, it is run by chef David Kasparian and open to non-guests. The house also has a beautiful bar in the middle of the room, with original lamps developed by an Amazonian community. It is fully integrated into the hotel entrance, as there is no lobby as such.

The mezzanine

On the third floor are the gym, meeting room, bar and a nice terrace, which can therefore be used by anyone who wants to work there. Of course, the space is also suitable for small personal events. The landscaping is designed by expert Martha Gavião. I also found it very interesting lockers and bathroom with shower, for those who need to leave their suitcases before entering the room or after having checked in check out.

The rooftop of the hotel from Hilton’s new lifestyle brand

On the 16th is the terrace with stunning views of cosmopolitan São Paulo. There is also the address of the bar Barnô, about to be opened. Certainly a spot that has everything it needs to be a success, with contemporary decor and a large outdoor area.

Sustainability

As part of the brand’s sustainability initiatives, Canopy São Paulo Jardins has the first gas air conditioning system in Brazil. Additionally, there is a water filter station in each room to reduce plastic usage. I thought the glass bottle left in the minibar for each guest to fill theirs was brilliant. Furthermore, the new hotel implemented the Hilton CleanStaycleaning and hygiene program with protocols from the check-in to the check-out. There are also specific procedures for meetings and events. Therefore, a modern and complete hotel with a great location in São Paulo.
