The hotel is extremely well located, in the so-called Quadrilatero d’Oro, with an exit to Via della Spiga, the street with the most chic shops in the city! Furthermore, it is just a 5-minute walk from the Duomo, the Alla Scala theater and Castello Sforzesco, some of Milan’s main tourist attractions!

Accommodations
The 87 rooms are spacious and comfortable, filled with works of art, old paintings on the walls, Murano glass and Carrara marble in the bathrooms. In other words, everything is in extremely good taste!

Recently, in November 2018, Baglioni Carlton joined the Jumbo Group, a reference in luxury real estate, to renovate all environments. The hotel’s bar and lobby, for example, as well as Caffè Baglioni and the Montenapoleone Terrace Suite, which is connected to the Junior Suite, decorated with designer Gianfranco Ferrè’s Home line. The atmosphere of the room with the balcony overlooking Via della Spiga was delicate and very luxurious!

I was received very kindly by the entire staff! These details certainly make a difference to make the most of your stay. In fact, one of the guidelines, perhaps the one that stands out the most, of the Baglioni chain is to make guests feel like they are truly in Italy! The staff always greets us using basic Italian words, such as Good morning e Thank you.

Furthermore, the sophisticated design decoration, mixing classic with modern, also always reminds us that we are in Italy. Meanwhile, restaurant menus offer traditional dishes from each region.

I had the pleasure of dining at the hotel’s restaurant, Terrazza! Very pleasant atmosphere, facing a small garden, the restaurant is perfect for a light and sophisticated lunch or dinner. They even offer a Healthy Menuwhich leaves us with a lighter conscience after so much first e second courses!

The hotel also has another restaurant, the elegant Il Baretto al Baglioni, which offers Milanese and Mediterranean cuisine and is historically a meeting point for politicians, journalists and artists. To top off my experience at Baglioni Carlton, I also received a delicious breakfast in the room! I felt like an Italian princess!

Furthermore, the hotel’s small urban spa, Spiga 8 Spa, is an oasis of relaxation and well-being, with a variety of treatments. Certainly an excellent option to relax your body after walking around the streets of Milan.
