With an exquisite location, in Jardins and walking distance On the trendy Oscar Freire Street, Fasano is certainly one of the best hotels in São Paulo! I stayed there recently and was delighted with the attentive and impeccable service. Furthermore, it is an icon of the city that is celebrating its 15th anniversary.

Fasano, one of the best hotels in São Paulo
Upon entering the lobby, which, in fact, looks like someone’s living room, we can already see a sophisticated, charming and elegant environment, with beautiful leather armchairs scattered around, a fireplace, and a beautiful bar in the background, designed by the Brazilian architect duo Isay Weinfeld and Marcio Kogan.

But what caught my attention the most was the impeccable service from the entire Fasano team. Personalized service certainly makes all the difference! Starting with the reception in the room, with little bottles of mate, globo biscuits (so you don’t miss Rio!) and a brigadeiro with a spoon.

And do not stop there. I felt like a princess with so many treats: a teddy bear with my name, water with the YMG logo, a clothesline with my Instagram photos and every hour a surprise! There is no doubt that this is the consequence of the attention, care and level of demand that the hotelier e restaurateur Rogério Fasano has with his guests and clients.

The rooms
There are 60 rooms in total, all with views of the gardens, and with extremely tasteful decor, with sober colors and lots of wood. I stayed in a spacious suite, measuring 75m², with a large living room, closet, king-size bed, two televisions, a mini kitchen with bar and coffee machine.

The bathroom, made of white marble, had a hot tub, bathrobes and Fasano amenities. In addition, there are also typical Italian works of art, such as paintings with Venetian frames and Murano vases.

The gastronomy
It is certainly one of the hotel’s highlights, and it is no surprise that the Fasano restaurant is considered one of the best in the city. Offering Italian haute cuisine, led by chef Luca Gozzani, it has an elegant atmosphere, also designed by Brazilian architects Isay and Marcio.

Furthermore, the hotel also has another restaurant, Nonno Ruggero, on the first floor, where breakfast is served, which is wonderful by the way. The atmosphere is more relaxed, with access to the balcony.

The Fasano group
The network of luxury hotels has more than 100 years of tradition! Currently, there are six hotels in Brazil and one in Uruguay, the Fasano Punta Del Este. The most recent are Fasano Belo Horizonte, opened in September 2018, and Fasano Salvador, in December, in a historic building in Praça Castro Alves, in the Historic Center of Salvador. In 2017 it was the turn of the Hotel Fasano Angra dos Reis, where I had already stayed and was very impressed with the structure, sophistication, gastronomy and the dazzling pools! This year, Fasano Trancoso is scheduled to open!
