Fasano Angra dos Reis
In total, there are 17 million square meters distributed in the best location in the city. Costa Verdeem Angra dos Reis, in the state of Rio de Janeiro.

The project
The beautiful project of the new Fasano Angra dos Reis is designed by the company Bernardes Arquitetura. The creator, Thiago Bernardes, used his trademark: projects that dialogue with nature and was very happy! The hotel oozes sophistication and reminds us every minute that we are by the sea. Therefore, a Lux standing on the sand near the river and no frills.

All the buildings in the project – Hotel Fasano and Residential Villas – were designed to harm the exuberant nature of the place as little as possible. A lot of wood was used, a material that helps create a relaxed but elegant environment.
Interior Design
The color palette was developed for each environment, including tones ranging from terracotta and ocher to different shades of blue and green. The dyeing and painting of the fabrics were created exclusively for Fasano Angra. The furniture is designed by Brazilian designers, as are the objects, such as lamps and baskets, sourced from the production of regional artisans.

The rooms
The new Fasano has 54 spacious suites facing the sea. The other six have a beautiful view of Pico do Frade. The king size bed is more than comfortable. The decor is sophisticated and relaxed at the same time. The balcony, a spectacle in itself, certainly invites us to moments of leisure enjoying the view that mixes sea and mountains.

The restaurants
Bar do Fasano Angra
This is where a rich breakfast is served, included in the room rates. It is located in a beautiful space, with an exclusive pool for guests and views of the beach. In a buffet style, treats are produced on site, such as bread, cakes and sweets. In addition to fruits and yogurts, there is tapioca, gluten-free options, sandwiches and eggs to order à la carte on the menu. Certainly one of the best breakfasts by the sea I’ve ever had.
RAW
CRUDO is probably one of the biggest news at Fasano Angra. It is next to one of the pools and is only open for dinner, open to guests and passers-by. Chef Pedro Franco proposes a menu focused on seafood options in sophisticated preparations and presentations with 25 types of seafood, including scallops, prawns, crayfish, etc.

Open only during the day, ideal for a poolside lunch. The menu includes snacks, such as fried calamari, and dishes, such as pasta with shrimp and zucchini, the famous Carpaccio alla Fasano (filet mignon carpaccio with black olive pate, capers and pine nuts), salads and sandwiches.
Praia
The Praia restaurant, open for lunch and dinner, offers a proposal more focused on Brazilian cuisine, with a little Spanish influence. It also has a barbecue for grilling and in winter there are delicious cheese fondues. The menu includes options ranging from light salads to pasta, sandwiches and seafood. Also, a great place to order a drink and relax under the sea breeze.
Fasano Bakery
Panetteria Fasano is another new addition to Fasano Angra. It offers the full variety of house breads, on the boulevard of Fasano Angra stores. In addition to bread, there are artisanal ice creams, sweets and other delicacies to take home, such as products from Fasano’s gourmet line for cooking at home. For example, wines, sauces, pasta and oils. Finally, the place is open to the public from the hotel and condominium, in addition to passers-by who can arrive by boat, bicycle or helicopter.
The spa
With 2 thousand square meters, the Spa has 8 treatment rooms. Facial and body treatments are offered, some of which were developed exclusively by therapist Fabrícia Nogueira for the Hotel Fasano Angra dos Reis. In addition, there are swimming pools for adults and children, one of which has a 25m lane.

The new feature is the flotation tank with a pool filled with saline water from the Dead Sea. The idea is to float for half an hour, which is equivalent to the relaxation of eight hours of sleep. Therefore, it must be booked in advance, just like massages.

A trip to Angra dos Reis is certainly not complete without a boat trip. After all, there are 365 preserved islands, with crystal clear water and stunning views. While some want to spend the whole day exploring marine nature, others prefer short trips that last a few hours. They can be done with a schooner or speedboat. We went to Paquetá Island and it was sensational!
Trails
For the more athletic, Pico do Frade is a complete dish! With more than 1,500 meters of altitude, it is the second highest point in Angra dos Reis and offers stunning views. Sustainability
The new FRAD.E is deeply concerned with sustainable development. For example, a socio-environmental project was created to build a local nursery to collect seeds in the remaining Atlantic Forest. Ecological walkways, lakes that recreate ecosystems, rainwater capture, water reuse, separation and adequate disposal of waste were also built. They were reused to build a new Cultural/Training Center for the Frade community. All guests, residents and visitors can be invited to learn more about the sustainability work carried out by the new FRAD.E.

Furthermore, the new Fasano Angra also has Luxury residential villas. There are 145 apartments ranging from 160m² to 594m², with natural lighting and ventilation, social hub, lakes and underground garages, for example.

Exclusive beach with gentle water, swimming pools with an indescribable view, first-class service and haute cuisine. Therefore, Fasano Angra leaves nothing to owe to luxury hotels on the beach out of Brazil. Certainly a weekend getaway in style. And I say it again, luxury on the sand near Rio. Unmissable!
