Hotels for Holy Week in Brazil
Emiliano Rio
On Copacabana Beach, the hotel has prepared special accommodation packages for those who are going to enjoy Holy Week in Rio. Bottle of must chandon rose, upgrade upon availability and surprise in-room amenities guaranteed. On the 30th and 31st of March, there will be a special Easter dinner on the rooftop (R$ 390.00 per person), with welcome drink, rose champagne flute and non-alcoholic drinks. Those who wish can also enjoy the Easter Brunch (R$ 220.00 per person), which includes cocktails of the day, wines, beers, water and soft drinks.

Grand Hyatt Rio de Janeiro
From March 30th to April 1st, the hotel offers the Easter Package. Included are a Belgian chocolate egg produced and decorated especially by the Patisserie from the hotel, breakfast, late check out until 6pm and up to 20% discount on the rate. Accommodation must be at least two nights. For children up to 12 years old, special attractions at Camp Hyatt, such as egg hunts and art workshops. On Easter Sunday, a special lunch will be served at Espaço Tano, from 12pm to 4pm, with cod and lots of chocolate.
The cost of lunch is $140 (plus taxes) per person and includes non-alcoholic drinks. Children aged 6 to 12 pay half and children under five pay free. Reservations can be made by calling (21) 3797-1234 or via the website.
Insólito Boutique Hotel & Spa
Right in the cove of Ferradura beach, in Búzios, 3 hours from Rio, the hotel has a look that doesn’t get tired and a beautiful decoration, which makes us feel at ease, as if we were at home. For Easter, the hotel has prepared a special program with workshops and children’s activities such as egg hunts and egg painting for the little ones, and live music on the 30th and 31st of March in the hotel’s restaurant. During this period, each room will be presented with an Easter egg from Brigadeiros Fabiana D’Angelo.
Holiday packages must be booked for at least three nights.
Nannai Resort & Spa
The resort, located 9km from Porto de Galinhas, has prepared a special program for Holy Week, from March 28th to April 1st. On March 30th and 31st, “Momento Gourmet” offers an exclusive class with the in-house chef presenting a typical recipe ideal for the date. Also on Friday, a tennis tournament, with a challenge between doubles, and for those who want to relax, the SPA offers a complete treatment with the Fabulous Karité + Shea Bath, as well as a tasting of the hotel’s sparkling wine and a self-massage workshop.
Ponta dos Ganchos Exclusive Resort
Voted the best luxury resort in Brazil and South America in 2016, by TripAdvisor, the hotel is located on a private peninsula, 50 minutes from Florianópolis. Ideal for those who want to relax in an exclusive place this holiday. For Easter, a special tasting menu was created with chocolates selected for the date. At night, enjoy the “Concertos na Natureza” experience, an open-air string concert with reinterpretations of classical music and MPB.

Txai Resort Itacaré
In an environmental protection area, the boutique hotel is a Relais&Châteaux member and has 38 bungalows on an area of 92 hectares. For Easter, a special program with lots of chocolate, as the hotel is located in the middle of the Cocoa Coast. Among the activities, a visit to the century-old Fazenda São Francisco to learn about the planting process, and a tasting of fine chocolates led by a local chocolatier. French chef Aurelien Roche also created a special tasting menu for the date, exploring the flavor of cocoa in different versions.
The acclaimed Shamash Healing Space Spa will also offer a beauty and detox ritual using roasted and ground cocoa beans. Packages are for three nights, starting at R$9,680.00 + 5% taxes, and four nights starting at R$11,550.00 + 5% taxes. Includes full board and transfer to Ilhéus/Txai/airport. Children up to 12 years old staying in the same accommodation as their parents are free of charge.
