Loews Regency New York | Hotel em Midtown Manhattan

I stayed for the second time at the Loews Regency New York, a hotel in Midtown Manhattan, very well located on Park Av. and I loved it! With spacious rooms, excellent address, great service and good restaurants, it is a wonderful option for those who want to stay close to Central Park. Opened in 1963, it is a modern and elegant hotel.

Just a few blocks from Central Park, the hotel has been completely renovated after a $100 million renovation. With more than one metro station nearby, the Loews Regency has a discreet location but walking distance from the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan, my favorite department store, Bloomingdales, and for those who like to walk, even Times Square, to see Broadway musicals.

It is close to Uptown and also Fifth Avenue and Madison (ideal streets for shopping, with all the stores we can imagine). In other words, it’s a hotel just the way I like it: you can do a lot of things on foot! And remembering that in the summer, there are Summer Streets, that is, Park Avenue closes to traffic and becomes a leisure area on Saturdays. Very good!

O Lobby

I don’t know about you, but I love busy hotels and the Loews Regency It’s like this: a hotel with soul. In the lobby, we feel people coming and going, but everything is very organized. There are several spaces like lounge, that we can calmly wait for someone or even arrange to meet a friend. A contemporary, tasteful and lively environment.

The rooms

The Loews Regency New York has 379 rooms, 58 of which are spectacular suites, with even space for an intimate wedding reception or small work meetings. Rooms are divided into seven categories and daily rates start at around US$459. (But it’s always worth taking a look at the hotel’s website as there may be some promotions.)

The decor is modern and elegant and the colors present are a tribute to Central Park, which changes its vegetation according to the time of year. Sizes vary depending on the category, but the environments are very similar to each other.

I stayed in the Luxury King, 28 m²; a room with excellent space, especially for me, who was alone. It has a king size bed, armchair, work desk with ergometric chair, plasma TV, fast internet connection, as well as electronic blinds, which do not allow any light to enter. Pro point Loews. I can’t help but mention the absolute silence, despite being in a hotel in Midtown Manhattan. In other words, double glazing that really works and lets us sleep like angels.

Salon and Spa

Considered one of the best in the city, Julien Farel Restore Salon & Spa has a separate entrance on 61st and is located next to the gym. It is the ideal place for those who want to have an afternoon of little woman em NY. The salon opens daily and the brand’s products are excellent. One of the most famous hairdressers in NY, Julien Farel is known for having celebrities on his client list.
