There are many gastronomic options in Paris; There’s no shortage of bistros and brasseries!

But for those who like to mix traditional with modern, eat well in sophisticated and tasteful environments, I suggest taking a look at the Costes group restaurants. A family that owns dozens of establishments including restaurants and hotels in France.

My favorites:

On chic Av.Montaigne, a rich and varied menu. Highlights include the shrimp risotto and steak tartare.

In Saint Germain, right in front of the Saint Germain de Près church, with tables outside for when the weather is nice.

Very close by, on Rue de Buci, there is Germain, a mix of bar and restaurant.

Additionally, there is Café Marly, at the Louvre Museum and Le Coq, at the Trocadero.

If you just want a drink, it’s worth stopping by the Hotel K bar, which is always popular!
