Moustiers Sainte Marie
And of course, if you’re going to eat at the restaurant, a stop in the village is mandatory. Surrounded by stones, narrow streets, with little ocher houses and flowery windows, it even gives the impression that we have stopped in time! In fact, to have a beautiful view of the valley, climb the stairs to the Notre-Dame-de-Beauvoir chapel.

The view attracts attention as soon as we enter the garden, as from all the tables it is possible to admire the beautiful view of the green mountains. The reputation of the starred restaurant is so good that there is a helipad there just for jetsetters arriving from Monaco for lunch…

Very charming outdoor tables

Delicious garden!
The gastronomy
The menu is seasonal while the vegetables come straight from the local garden. The menu, with starter, main and dessert, costs around 65 euros. On the menu, there is, for example, octopus, salmon, lamb and lots of very fresh vegetables. To finish, a sensational cheese plate and elaborate desserts. The presentation is certainly a separate chapter! The chefs are extremely meticulous and the sommelier always has suggestions on the tip of his tongue, especially the best rosés in the region.
