Mediterranean, the restaurant’s cuisine features light and fresh suggestions, made with sustainable ingredients from small producers. Therefore, all dishes are well served and ideal for sharing. For starters, we ordered zucchini flower, ricotta, parmesan and cured egg yolk (R$ 69) and a burrata with variations of tomato and crispy tuille (R$ 59). By the way, they were very tasty!

For the main dishes, we went for cod lasagna with bechamel, buffalo and pine nuts (R$ 129) and grilled sole with herb butter (R$ 149). In fact, the dishes leave nothing to be desired in terms of quantity or quality. To top off our lunch at this Mediterranean restaurant in Jardins, we chose a cookie filled with pistachio paste, white chocolate and ice cream (R$49) and the flagship, a mille-feuille with whipped cream and caramel (R$49) . They were sensational! The cookie cone was just right and the ice cream was super creamy. The mil-feuille, besides being “instagrammable”, came with the right dose of sweetness!

Capanema’s bar
With a selection of classic and signature drinks, the menu features eccentric and well-decorated drinks. Bartender Denis Oliveira is responsible and bets on a variety of drinks, such as the Capanema (London dry Gin, cantaloup melon puree, elderflower syrup and lemongrass syrup), for R$ 62, and the Enigma (Singleton single whiskey, amaretto, cynar artichoke aperitif, dash angostura bitter), from R$52.

The bar counter is open and allows customers to watch the bartender juggle. Meanwhile, the chairs neatly arranged diagonally show the careful organization of the restaurant, which has a friendly staff. Thus, to complete the decoration, part of the floor in front of the bar was made up of hundreds of corks, adding more charm to the alcoholic drinks environment.
The restaurant’s street is small and dead-end, however the customer can leave the car at the Valet with the valet (R$ 30) and enjoy this Mediterranean in the Jardins. So, keep this tip in mind, as it’s worth the experience!
