This morning it was terribly cold here so we have another recipe to warm up your body and soul! Get ready for lots of soups, broths and creams to appear here! At home we love it! In fact, there is a selection of easy and delicious recipes of this type. here. But returning to today’s recipe, take note:
Ingredients:
1/2 kid (tea) of bacon;
1/2 onion;
2 garlic cloves;
1 stalk of chopped leek;
2 chopped potatoes;
Salt and pepper to taste;
1 col. corn starch (soup);
1 cup. (milk tea).
Saute the bacon in its own fat, remove when crispy and set aside. In the fat that he released, sauté the onion and garlic. That bacon “sludge” that remains at the bottom of the pan is very important, after adding liquid it comes loose and adds a lot of flavor.
Add a stalk of chopped leek. If you don’t know how to use leeks, see how to do it here. Then add the potatoes, add salt and add black pepper if desired. Cover with hot water and let it boil until the potatoes are cooked.
Mix the starch with the milk and add to the other ingredients. Use a mixer to grind everything or put it in a blender. If you want, you can heat the cream a little more before serving. Place the chopped bacon on top.
This recipe makes 2 very generous portions. I make small portions here at home because there are only 2 of us who eat (and 1 who breastfeeds), but just double or triple it as you like. To see this recipe in detail, just watch the video by clicking here: http://bit.ly/cremealhoporo or pressing play:
