Think of an easy-to-make and very tasty sauce! That!!! The fact that it goes in the oven gives it a special touch and the flavors are very concentrated. You can add a little “toast” on top to make it even tastier. The good thing about this sauce is that you put it in the oven and it gives you time to do other things, unlike pan sauce where you have to keep an eye on it and stir it every now and then. Connect easily:
Ingredients:
1.5 kilos of very ripe and firm tomatoes;
1 onion;
1/2 carrot;
Oregano, olive oil, basil and salt to taste.
Just put everything in the preheated oven at 220ºC for 45 minutes (I only add salt and basil when blending).
Remove from the oven, let it cool a little and blend in a mixer or blender until desired (chunkier or smoother).
Important:
*The carrot is used to cut the acidity of the sauce and needs to be chopped into very small pieces so that it becomes soft after 45 minutes.
*Can be frozen for 3 months.
*Makes approximately 800ml of sauce.
