It got hot this week! The sun came out beautiful and strong! And warmer days go well with a beautiful salad! I normally make a bed of lettuce, (the one I’m using is the freelice which, besides being beautiful, lasts a long time in the fridge), in the middle, I put everything I can, here it was grated carrots, mushrooms, tomatoes, parmesan shavings, olives and white raisins (which I added after the photo)!
In the detail in the photo there is a “trick” that doesn’t look like it, but believe me, it is very useful! A salad dryer. I’ve had it for about 2 years and use it all the time. You wash the salad, put it there, turn the crank, and it comes out dry, ready to be stored (you know, humidity is what rots the leaves, right?).
