This post came about after Dani (blog reader) sent me an email saying that she had doubts when it came to dressing salads and combining ingredients. I want to make it clear that the post is based on the reality of the region where I live (Sorocaba) and I know that the vegetables available, as well as those considered more “common” change depending on the region, so feel free to collaborate through comments! In this post I’m going to talk more about salads that contain raw ingredients, otherwise the post would be gigantic, but I’ll soon make a post about salads with cooked vegetables.

- Basic sauce: 2 tablespoons of olive oil + 2 tablespoons of lemon juice or vinegar + 2 tablespoons of water + 1 pinch of salt
- Acid Mustard Sauce: 2 tablespoons of olive oil + 2 tablespoons of lemon juice or vinegar + 2 tablespoons of water + 1 tablespoon of common mustard + 1 pinch of salt
- Mild Mustard Sauce: 2 tablespoons of olive oil + 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or vinegar + 2 tablespoons of water + 1 tablespoon of common mustard + 1 tablespoon of cream or ricotta cream + 1 pinch of salt
- Rose sauce: 1 tablespoon ketchup + 1/2 tablespoon mustard + 1 tablespoon lemon juice + 3 tablespoons mayonnaise + 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce + 1 pinch of salt
- Passion fruit sauce: 2 tablespoons of concentrated passion fruit juice + 2 tablespoons of olive oil + 1 tablespoon of water + 1 teaspoon of honey + 1 pinch of salt
- Honey and mustard sauce: 2 tablespoons of common mustard + 1 tablespoon of honey + 1 tablespoon of water + 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar + 1 pinch of salt
- Garlic sauce: 2 tablespoons of olive oil + 2 tablespoons of lemon juice or vinegar + 2 tablespoons of water + 1 tablespoon of fried garlic + 1 pinch of salt
- Yogurt broth: 1 tablespoon of olive oil + 2 tablespoons of natural yogurt + 2 tablespoons of lemon juice or vinegar + 2 tablespoons of water + 1 pinch of salt
- Basil Sauce: 2 tablespoons of finely chopped or crushed basil leaves + 3 tablespoons of olive oil + 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or vinegar + 2 tablespoons of water + salt
- Dry Herb Sauce: 4 tablespoons of olive oil + 1/2 teaspoon of dried rosemary + 1/2 teaspoon of oregano (dried) + 1/2 teaspoon of dried basil + 2 tablespoons of juice lemon or vinegar + 1 tablespoon of water + 1 pinch of salt
- Orange Sauce: 4 tablespoons of orange juice + 2 tablespoons of olive oil + 1 teaspoon of common mustard + 1 teaspoon of honey + 1/2 chopped seedless pepper + 1 pinch of salt
- Oriental Sauce: 2 tablespoons of olive oil + 2 tablespoons of soy sauce + 1 tablespoon of water + 1 teaspoon of honey + 1 teaspoon of toasted sesame seeds + 1 pinch of salt + 1/2 spoon (coffee) sesame oil (optional).
- Balsamic Dressing: 2 tablespoons of olive oil + 3 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar + 1/2 teaspoon of oregano + 2 tablespoons of water + 1 pinch of salt
