I know that “question” believe me, so pay attention to the message: This is the best homemade pizza I’ve ever eaten! And look, I made several attempts at home!
It doesn’t look like those frying pan dough we buy because the dough is thicker. It’s impossible to explain, do it and draw your own conclusions. Preparation is a breeze:
For the dough (recipe for 4 discs):
1 ovo;
50g of softened butter;
1 and 1/2 cup of wheat flour;
1 dessert spoon of chemical yeast (the kind used for cake);
1 teaspoon of salt (I also used a pinch of garlic powder in the dough).
Mix the egg, butter, salt and yeast. It is important that the butter is not melted (like oil) but softened (like ointment). Add the flour little by little until it comes off your hands and forms a ball.
Roll out very thinly with a rolling pin and cut into discs (I used a plastic lid to cut). Place the dough in a non-stick frying pan and keep it covered over low heat until the underside is golden brown (about 5 minutes). Remove from the heat, turn the dough over, add the topping of your choice (I used tomato sauce, cheese, tomato, oregano and basil) and return to the heat (covered) to melt the cheese and brown the other part of the dough (more about 3 minutes).
It looks VERY good!!!!

Important notes:
– I don’t know if the dough can be frozen or how it can be stored as this is the first time I’ve made it, but I believe that the discs can be stored already toasted on just one side.
– The recipe said that it can also be made in the conventional oven in the same way. In this case you can make the pizza in any shape and size desired, but I haven’t tested it ok?
