I ate it once at a friend’s house and I went crazy with this recipe. Today I remembered it and it was almost a gastronomic hallucination, I had to make it right away! Like everything I do, it’s very simple:
For mass:
1/2 cup of oil (I used olive oil);
3 whole eggs;
50g grated Parmesan cheese (I used about 30g);
1 spoon of baking powder;
1 cup of milk;
2 cups of wheat flour;
1 pinch of salt;
3 tablespoons of chopped green chilli.
Blend everything in the blender:
For the filling:
200g cubed mortadella;
1 large seedless tomato, chopped;
4 tablespoons of chopped olives;
10 biquinho peppers, split in half (optional).
Mix everything and if you want, add black pepper and a tablespoon of olive oil.
Grease and flour the pan (any shape you want), pour in part of the dough, add a layer of filling, another layer of dough, another layer of filling and finish with dough.
Place in a preheated oven at 200º for 35 minutes. Remove the cake from the oven and brush with 1 beaten egg yolk. Return to the oven until golden.
For those who don’t know the biquinho pepper, this is the one in the smaller photo. It is an aromatic pepper and does not burn at all!
PS: You didn’t even warn me that I had written “Mustadela” in the title hahahahha! I’ve already fixed it (it’s a rush)!
