This recipe for Homebread It surprised me because it was simply AWESOME, easy to make and very cute! As they yielded 4 units, I froze two of them already baked, but I waited for them to cool completely and only then I wrapped them in plastic wrap and froze them. To defrost, just leave it at room temperature. They are perfect, as if they had been baked that day. But let’s get down to business?
Ingredients:
- 450ml of warm water;
- 1 sachet of dry organic yeast (10g);
- 3 tablespoons of sugar;
- 1 level spoon (dessert) of salt;
- 1 ovo;
- 1/3 cup (tea) of oil;
- Approximately 6 to 8 cups (tea) of flour.
Mix the water, egg and oil. Add the sugar, salt, yeast and gradually add flour. I start mixing with a large spoon, when the dough starts to get heavier, I remove the spoon and mix with one hand and gradually add flour with the other. Keep working the dough until it doesn’t stick to your hands.
Knead for about 10 minutes. Kneading means doing the following movement: place the dough on a surface sprinkled with a little flour, then stretch the dough with the palm of your hand and then pull it towards you again. You can simply stretch and fold the dough in half again.
Place back in the basin and cover with a tea towel or plastic wrap. Let the dough rest until it doubles in volume. I like to leave it in the oven (turned off). The time for this to happen can vary from 30 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes depending on the climate in the region where you live, the quality of the yeast, etc.

Attention Now
Shape the loaves into the shape you want. I roll out a rectangle of dough and roll it like a jelly roll. Sprinkle a little flour on the surface of the pan and place the breads. Let them rise again in the oven for 30 minutes or until they look like the first ones in the image above.
Turn the oven on to 180º and bake the breads until you see that the surface is brown, colored, there is no point in me saying how long to bake because this varies greatly depending on the brand of oven. It goes from 30 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes as it also depends on the size of the bread, the larger it is, the longer it takes in the oven.
So get ready, I loved this recipe guys, I’ve been making it here all the time!
