What were the main beauty trends at NYFW?
1. Pele “natural”
We started with a style that was not very common on the catwalks, but that is now gaining more and more strength: skin with a more natural appearance. That’s right, brands like Carolina Herrera and Christina Siriano presented models with much more natural skin, almost without any foundation or makeup. And they weren’t the only brands to bet on the “washed face” trend, as this was seen in several fashion shows during NYFW.
2. Glitter
Another beauty trend, but now opposite to natural skin, is glitter in makeup. Some brands have invested in bright pigments to stand out on the catwalk. In fact, this shine and glitter comes at the right time, since during Carnival time makeup will be at its brightest, especially in eyeliner.
3. Gloss incolor
But other beauty trends also came as a counterpoint to more colorful and stronger makeup. An example of this is also the use of colorless lip gloss, which was seen several times on the NYFW catwalk. Sleek hair has been popular even before the NYFW beauty trends. However, the type of hairstyle with straight strands close to the scalp, with a wet look, was very successful at New York Fashion Week. 8. Polished bun

9. Braid
Finally, a hairstyle that opened up space for creativity and style in the hair. The braid appeared in several hairstyles in the fashion shows of several brands such as Coach, Kim Shiu and Area. The braided hairstyle brought strength to the look. There was everything, simpler braids and others that were much more striking and creative.
