2. Cabbage

Add the rosemary-pepper to the boiling water and let it rest for about 6 hours. Then, strain the mixture and use the water to wash the affected area 2 to 3 times a day, until the symptoms disappear.

4. Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is another good option for a home remedy for impinge because, as it is an acidic substance, it helps eliminate fungi that cause impinge, as well as having an anti-inflammatory action, relieving the symptoms of itching, redness and swelling on the skin.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar;
  • 1 glass of water.

Preparation mode

Dilute the apple cider vinegar in a glass of water and mix well. Put a little of this solution on a piece of cotton and apply it to the affected skin. Leave to act for 5 to 20 seconds and wash the skin. This application can be repeated up to 3 times a day.

5. Tea tree essential oil

Tea tree oil, or tea treeis rich in substances with antifungal and anti-inflammatory action, such as terpinene and cineole, which help combat the symptoms of impingement such as itching, peeling, redness or swelling of the skin.

  • 5 drops of tea tree essential oil;
  • 2 tablespoons of coconut, sweet almond or olive oil.

Preparation mode

Mix the ingredients and apply to the affected skin 3 times a day for a maximum of 6 days in a row.

Before applying tea tree oil to the affected skin, you should check if you are allergic to this oil and, therefore, it is recommended to apply a drop of tea tree oil to the skin on the back of your hand. If allergy symptoms such as redness, itching, swelling or the formation of small blisters appear on your hand, you should wash your skin and not use tea tree oil as a home remedy for impingement.

Tea tree oil should not be used by pregnant women.

6. Thyme and rosemary infusion

The infusion of thyme and rosemary is rich in antifungal substances such as thymol, carvacrol and camphor, which act to prevent the multiplication of fungi, helping to reduce skin itching, flaking and redness, making it a great option for a home remedy for impingement.

  • 700 mL of water;
  • 2 teaspoons of dried thyme;
  • 2 teaspoons of dried rosemary.

Preparation mode
