1. Bath that’s too hot

As irresistible as that hot shower may be in winter or after a tiring day, don’t fall into that temptation. 2. Bathing too long

In addition to the hot shower, another thing that destroys your skin and is considered a daily mistake for most people in the shower is taking a long shower. Yes, it is relaxing, but it causes skin problems, not to mention excessive water consumption. A bath of no more than 10 minutes is recommended.

3. Lots of foam

It’s fun, we know, but abusing products that make a lot of foam, such as soap, shampoo, gel and bath salts is also a big mistake against our health when showering.

These products tend to be rich in harmful substances, as you have already seen here (click), or that clean the skin too much… and yes, that is bad. This is because, the greater the amount of foam the cosmetic produces, the more substances that remove natural oil it contains and, therefore, the greater the elimination of the protective layer of the skin and hair.

4. Old sponges

5. Drying yourself too much

Therefore, when drying your body, choose terry, soft towels that leave your body with that feeling of moisture at the end. Although people prefer old towels, which dry completely, this is not recommended and can leave your skin irritated.
