Shops, factories and salons have a large circulation of people, therefore, the main advantage of porcelain tiles in these spaces is the material’s high durability. After all, it is one of the best materials when it comes to resistance and absorption. Furthermore, the coating can be used indoors or outdoors.

Furthermore, the ease of cleaning is also a great advantage of porcelain tiles as it accumulates less residue when compared to other coverings.

For those looking for versatility and want to avoid the obvious when it comes to decoration, porcelain tiles are the best option. After all, the material can be applied to floors, walls and even furniture such as counters.

Therefore, we have separated photos from different segments to show, in practice, how porcelain tiles can be used to decorate a commercial environment.

Optics

Firstly, we brought optics designed by architect Sergio Novaes. To display the Gustavo Eyewear pieces, the professional opted for covering Apuan ballasts, from Portinaria.

As a result, there is a porcelain panel at the store’s entrance with several mirrors in which customers could try on the glasses.

Inspired by the marbles of the Apuan Alps, in Italy, the product used has large formats of 160×320. In this way, the space gained extra charm with the contrast of the pieces.

Furthermore, the floor was also porcelain, but from the Nidus collection. With an appearance reminiscent of wood, the coating guarantees resistance and also warms the environment. This creates a feeling of coziness.

“They are pieces in the shape of an elongated ruler, with knots that give movement and naturalness to the pagination, in size 26×160”, explains the professional.

Home Bazaar

Created by architect Fernanda Medeiros, Home Bazzar is covered with porcelain tiles from the Venezia collection. Furthermore, it integrates the internal part of the commercial space and the urban garden at the entrance.

“The professional opted for two product possibilities, the natural version inside the store and with non-slip on the outside, increasing the safety of those who move through the space and giving a feeling of spaciousness and visual unity to the project as a whole”, he highlights.

Furthermore, the mix of stone and marble with fine grains of minerals makes Santa Cruz Home Bazaar reminiscent of the terraces of Venice.

The store sells decorative objects such as paintings, crockery, pillows, napkins, among others.

Another project that uses porcelain tiles in commercial environments present at CASACOR Rio is the bookstore created by architect Vitor Niskier.

As a covering, he invested in the Travola collection in the outdoor reading area.

“Inspired by sophisticated wooden tables, the products faithfully interpret wood, in the shape of a ruler, and awaken a feeling of coziness. Warm colors, which reproduce the tones, few knots, and movements of the wood grain, make the piece cleaner”, he details.

The space developed to display Unisaber books has hollow shelves. So, while you look at the books, you can also admire the garden right behind.

Perfumeries tend to be very refined places. With this in mind, architect Rafael Mirza created Casa dos Aromas, with a traditional style.

With Mels Brushes products that include liquid soap, diffusers, essences, bath salts, among others, the space is another one that received porcelain tiles in commercial environments at CASACOR Rio.

On the floor, Rafael chose the Castellón collection, by Portinari. Inspired by Pultis stone extracted from the mountains in Spain, it offers refinement and harmony to the environment, without leaving creativity aside. The large square format is 120×120.
