It is not new that honey has been used in conjunction with cosmetics and this mixture is gaining more and more space in the market.

Rich in vitamins (A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, C and H), polysaccharides, carbohydrates and other substances, honey is also a great ally in hydrating hair.

1 part honey to 2 parts your usual hydrating cream or mask, (that is, if you use one spoonful of honey, use two spoonfuls of cream) the final amount varies according to the length of the hair.

Hydration with cornstarch (cornstarch)

Cornstarch, popularly known as cornstarch, when used correctly, can help a lot when it comes to hydration, as it acts as a humidity regulator, providing softness and shine to the hair.

For the cornstarch hydration recipe you will need:

1 cup of water

2 spoons of cornstarch

2 spoons (or more) of hydrating cream or mask

1 spoon of oil of your choice (olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil)

Preparation and application:

Dissolve the cornstarch in the water, heat the mixture over low heat and stir until it reaches the consistency of porridge.

Let it cool and then add the oil and moisturizing cream.

With hair washed only with shampoo, apply the mixture to your hair, covering each strand.

Leave it to act for 30 minutes to 1 hour and then rinse well. Apply your preferred conditioner after rinsing.

Tip: You can use a moisturizing toning cream in this recipe, so in addition to hydrating, the hair will not turn yellow.
