  1. 😢 I tried making the first recipe and the time did not work. My IP only has pressure cook setting and the closing to 6 mins was 5 min to make eggs. When the preheating setting finished and it was supposed to start cooking, the IP said “food burning”. The bottom was burning and even though the rice was almost cooked, it needed more time and the chicken was not cooked all the way yet. I didn’t want to get my family sick so it went in the garbage…. It’s a problem that there are so many IP’s that have different settings

  2. I love to make beef tips and mushroom gravy….it is so delish for using cut up roast,stew meat even cube steak. My family’s favorite over mashed taters!

  3. I’m a newbie to the instant pot and Ty you SO much for talking about the venting quick release tip when you showed the macaroni and cheese part. I’ve been wanting to know this for like ever and I’ve gone through a lot of videos and finally found yours that explained the venting in the quick release. Thank you so much I appreciate it. 🙏🌸🌸

  4. I bought an instant pot over a year ago and I have never used it! I will probably be able to now . I was a little scared of the pressure and all the buttons!

  5. What people do not realize is that when a person goes to a culinary school they teach culinary techniques in detail. What is so important with the instant pot is that you can use the same techniques in the instant pot. When you do this in the instant pot cooking is much more consistant withe gourmet cooking. As an example there is a difference between sautéing and swetting. Specifically with vegetables and meat. Do not crowd your pan with meat or you steam and not sauté. Sweating cooks, but does not carmelize the meat or vegetables and does not brown.

  6. Thank you for the recipes! I recently bought the IP duo-crisp + air fryer. Do you have any recipes where I can also use the air fryer lid?
