However, if you think that a good brigadeiro is just that brigadeiro in a pan, or if you think that it only exists, you are very wrong. In fact, there are countless versions of brigadeiros out there: banana, strawberry, Nutella, caipirinha, pistachio and so on, as far as imagination goes.

  • Granulated for dusting or crystal sugar.

Preparation mode:

  1. Before starting, set aside the Nutella and let it freeze for at least four hours. Well, it needs to become more consistent;
  2. Then, place the rest of the ingredients in a non-stick pan and place over medium heat. Remember, don’t stop stirring for at least 30 minutes. Because the intention is to turn into a brigadeiro dough;
  3. Then let it cool for at least two hours;

  1. First, combine the condensed milk, chocolate powder and butter in a pan;
  2. Afterwards, place over low heat and stir for about 10 minutes, until the dough comes away from the bottom of the pan;
  3. Therefore, place the brigadeiro on a plate greased with butter until it cools;
  4. Grease your hands and make balls with small portions of dough;
  5. Finally, put them in the freezer until they are firm.

Caramel:

  1. First, place the sugar, vinegar and 1 cup (tea) of water in a pan.
  2. Then, place over medium heat, without stirring, and let it boil until you get a hard candy syrup.
  3. Now it’s time to remove the brigadeiros from the freezer and dip them one by one in the caramel sauce, using a toothpick.

Above all, it is worth highlighting that if you want to freeze the brigadeiros before bathing them, you are welcome. However, we at Women’s Area ask that you be careful. In fact, to defrost it is best to remove them from the packaging and leave them at room temperature for around 4 hours. Finally, dip them in caramel sauce or fondant.

Tip: It is worth noting that the brigadeiros must be dipped in caramel about 6 hours before being served, to avoid them becoming mushy. In fact, if you want to check the hard candy point, remove some of the syrup and place it in cold water.

9- Brigade

  • 1/2 panettone
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 90 g semi-sweet chocolate, in pieces
