Biscuits & Gravy:
Ingredients
1 pound breakfast sausage, hot or mild
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 cups of half and half (you can also use whole milk)
Salt and pepper to taste
Biscuits, warmed, for serving

Directions
Cook and crumble the sausage over medium-high heat until no longer pink (drain if desired). Sprinkle flour on cooked meat and stir until the sausage soaks it all up. Cook for 5 minutes on medium heat; stir occasionally. Pour in half and half, stirring constantly.

Simmer gravy on low until it thickens (about 10 minutes). Sprinkle in salt and pepper and stir well. Let gravy sit for a few minutes until it thickens. If it gets too thick, add more half and half or milk to taste. Serve over warm biscuits.

  1. I still haven’t gotten groceries! I’ve had Bri stop on his way home from work & pick up some essentials. But other than that, no groceries! It’s kind of an adventure now to see what we can come up with.
Your meals looked very tasty! Biscuits & gravy are on the menu for us this wk too. Have a great wk Andrea!😁

  2. Good Morning Andrea😀
Pantry challenge is the perfect way to get me to rotate my stocked goods. You got me on a I want biscuits n gravy. Today I made grits with honey and butter topped it with glazed pecans and dried cranberries.

  3. That soup looked utterly spectacular! I'm so glad you're still able to get so much great mealtime out of your pantry as well! The biscuits and gravy looked amazing as well! Sorry that frozen pizza didn't turn out so great… sometimes they're a bit meh, but good onyou going through that freezer! Thanks for this Andrea!

  4. I love a toasted bun! I finally tried the Spaghetti Classics kit. I did it without adding meat. It was pretty tasty. I’ve purchased it a few times since and actually plan to try it again this week with ground turkey. Your green bean potato soup looks delicious. Great week!

  5. Hi, Andrea!
Those burgers look good! I like my bun grilled, too. Great minds think alike, haha!
    That soup looks so creamy!
I will have to look for that dinner kit–it definitely looks like it would be good. I like how you plated that meal, too. Glad you got the kaiser rolls for cheap!
Can you believe I can't remember ever having biscuits and gravy? I should officially lose my southern cook card, haha. Frozen biscuits are much better than the ones that come in the pan, imo
Thanks for being honest about the pizza. Sometimes you just have to try things and see if they're good or not
