Growing up this was the ONLY recipe our Dad would make when my Mom went out of town. (Because it was a one pot meal!) It brings back so many memories and watching my dad cook in the kitchen (which didn’t happen very often) – but when he did, we all loved it!
Grandma’s Goulash has easy ingredients and tastes just like a home cooked meal.

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 large onion (diced)

2 (15 ounce) cans diced tomatoes (undrained)
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 Tablespoons soy sauce
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups elbow macaroni
1 cup of water
INSTRUCTIONS
Push the saute button on your Instant Pot, and when it is hot, brown beef until no longer pink.

Add corn, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, brown sugar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and salt.
Add uncooked macaroni noodles, and one cup of water.
Place the lid on the Instant Pot, turn the knob to SEALING not Venting, and set the timer for 4 minutes.

Is there an actual written recipe for this dish? I want to make this tonight but unsure of measurements. Please help 😉
Looks great, but you added way more than one cup of water
A very tasty dish indeed, her husband is a lucky man 🙂 Thanks for all the great recipes, my family loves your meatloaf. Ordering the book and making this when I get some tomato sauce!
Do you drain the grease from the hamburger after browning?
@lemonademom just like your recipe
Where's the link for your meat chopper????
Do you have to add that much brown sugar, I just can't handle that much. Other than that it looks delicious!!!!❤❤❤
I take it in the “saute’” setting you can add all these ingredients with the top off?
I wonder if I add garlic if its gonna be good
Made this tonight. We loved it!
Sooo goood love it
I JUST TRIED TO MAKE THIS DISH AND IT SAID BURNT WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? I DID EXACTLY WHAT YOU DID. THANKS DIANNA
Making for a second time! Been craving it all week!
Just found this and made it for dinner … had some frozen cooked mince so used that and had to kinda substitute some ingredients as in in Australia and it was so delicious 🤩🤩🤩
No need for all that much sugar. A couple table spoons is sufficient
Loved making this dish and for rhe most part it worked out. However I must have missed a step or a heat atep because it burnt on the bottom of my pot and did not go the four minutes. I am trying to master this pot because it will make huge difference in my world. Did I miss a step somewhere?
no
I just got a new crock pot 10 quart pressure cooker slow cooker everything cooker!
Can I do 2 lb of macaroni if my pressure cooker is 10 quarts?? I finally gave up The Ghost and got a pressure cooker that does everything on Earth except make me a cup of coffee! 🙂
I love the instant pot so much! I have made quinoa, chicken, chili, asparagus MyBest.Kitchen and yogurt in it so far. The only thing that didn't work great was the asparagus. I cooked it for 1 minute and it was still overdone. It is a timesaver and uses much less energy than my gas stove.
I was looking for an instant pot hamburger soup recipe. When I came across the six sisters thumbnail I thought this chick isn't playing and I have to make this today.
I bought that tool on amazon then seen one at Dollar tree for a $1 and I think I paid $12
Only 4 mins ???
Hello! Thanks to Six Sisters I've become more comfortable with cooking with my Instant Pot. Giving this one recipe a try tonight, my husband is helping. Weird question, where did you buy your shirt?
Those Slit holes on the side of the pan or what you put your lid on I seen it on another video it’s really cool I didn’t know that didn’t know if you know it so I’m sharing with you
Every time we sauté anything in our instant pot it always burns when we get to the pressure cooking part, even if we put in extra water. 😩
Can I cook this stove top the same way?
Trying to figure how to use my IP Max to do these but it’s not the same settings……
I made this today and was so good and different! No soy sauce and used 1 can V8 juice instead of water. I love the six sisters!!!!!! Beautiful new baby!
If I made this in the crock pot would the recipe be any different?
Just made it! I used some other ingredients as well, taste delicious! Thank you gor sharing!
Can you freeze any leftovers?
4 minutes is too high. you need only 1 minute. Then immediate release, stir and let sit for 5 minutes. it will finish cooking as it cools. prevents it going to mush.
Can you guys adjust recipes for us 3 quart peeps.. college students , singles , couples .. we DONT have the 6-8 quarts
Ok maybe not 😂😂
Thx anyway 😂
Do you have a goulash recipe that is not a pressure cooker one?
Corn in goulash..?? 🤮
i love your recipes they are great an you are so good looking
I,just made this, it's delicious. Thanks
Soy sauce does not belong in a goulash. What crap.
I cooked for 41 yrs, i Never understood Why people don't cut the whole top off the can. Danger, Danger
yes the Hungarian Gulyás is very popular world ways
I'm making now and it's taking FOREVER with the preheating stage! Is that because of all of the liquids????
OMGosh!!! Minus the corn, I am doing this exactly as you did!!
