Instant Pot Jambalaya | A New Orleans Specialty!

You Tube

This Instant Pot Jambalaya is made with rice, shrimp, and sausage, though there are instructions on how to add chicken as well if you’d like. This Jambalaya recipe transports me directly to Bourbon Street, and is one of my favorite Instant Pot recipes to make!

  1. Love NOLA food, wish there was Boudan in Michigan. Try the Zatarain's Parboiled rice in this recipe, seems to add to the authentic taste. Thanks!

  2. Looks awesome! I've become a vegan for cardio health reasons, so I'm gonna attempt a vegan version, sub some black and/or pinto beans, and maybe some lentils for the chicken and sausage protein element. Probably add some okra, maybe the combination okra+tomatoes that some grocery stores have. Prob have to add some more spices to make up for the absence of the sausage and its accompanying spiciness. One sliced jalapeno for sure; any ideas for other spices to make up for the missing sausage zip?

  3. As far as sequence of ingredients goes, this looks to be one of the better ones on YT. Great job! Can't wait to try it.
