  1. love the shepards pie, I make it often with beef and usually use the corn or peas, sometimes even carrots , what ever is on hand… and now my daughter makes it as well for her husband and 6 children.. Just curious how are your parents with their move, did you get to see them for the holidays… such a marvelous family.. HAPPY NEW YEAR

  2. I use mashed sweet potato on my shepherds pie. Total game changer.
    That Creole seasoning is🥵🥵😂

  3. Random question, but do you know anyone in Pennsylvania who sells a half a beef or pig but that transports it say to New York? I am on Long Island in New York and for the first time ever I was able to buy a quarter beef from a farmer in Pennsylvania, but I did this through someone who no longer lives here, but we don’t have access to pasture, raised grass fed grass finished beef or pork here, and I really want to network with someone

  4. Hi Adeline, I love your channel! We always call cottage pie a shepherds pie even though it’s made with beef as well. Meat creamed corn and potatoes has always been the way we make it too! Don’t know if it is a french Canadian thing or not ?!?

  5. I so enjoy your videos and recipes! But glass cutting boards dull knives soooo quickly! America's Test Kitchen just put a video out about it. Save your knives and ditch the glass!

  6. My family starting Paleo diet this weekend I plan to use your menus for each week with some adaptation. We’re not going do grains at first❤Tks,

  7. You have so many delicious ideas. Your family is lucky that you take the time to make them such healthy and delicious meals. I would really love to start some batch cooking so I don't have to spend so much time in the kitchen each day. It would also cut down on the dishes.

  8. looks delish! my cottage pie always has a tomato & w-sauce base with lots of veggies, Im definitely giving your simplified twist version a try 🙂

  9. I admire you girls who prep ahead of time. We prefer fresh cooked food, and then eat the left overs in lunches. It's too much like eating leftovers when you have to reheat the meal. Too much of the fresh taste is gone for us.

  10. I love to put corn between my layers of shepherds pie!! The beef one I will actually do with half of it corn in between for the kids and the other half I will do green beans for me and my husband! I have never tried with sweet potatoes, I may have to as my husband might like that! I also love to do a version with chicken or turkey with turkey gravy and cream of chicken mixed in as the base!

  11. I enjoy your recipes.
For the drop biscuits, we're a nut free household. What do you suggest as a substitute for the almond flour to keep the biscuits gluten-free?
Thanks and God bless you and your family.

  12. Do you have monthly snacks you prepare or like I'm shopping for the month but don't want to get just easy unhealthy items like chips for my kiddo

  13. I seriously could eat chili or soup every single day. They are a staple here this time of year. And there are so many variations that you can have something different for weeks at a time
Love these meal prep vids. Thanks for the ideas

  14. My dad would mix mashed potatoes, cooked ground beef, and corn. Popped in the oven with a healthy dose of butter on top. It’s the cheapest but most favorite dish of all of us. It was our “poor man’s casserole”. My husband isn’t huge on mostly starch dishes – so I don’t make it often. However – when I’m missing Dad.. that’s what I want.

  15. It’s funny because where i live in Québec, Canada for us it’s a shepherd’s pie and a very common dish (in french pâté chinois ) ground beef at the bottom, corn mix cream corn in the middle and mash potato on the top 😊

  16. I just found your channel and oh my gosh! Everything looks so delicious. I'm trying to get freezer meal prep ideas in preparation for our first baby so I'm hoping to adapt a few of these for freezer storage until we need them!

  17. Hi! Just a quick backstory about your ''shepherd's pie'', the last reciepe. Here in Quebec, Canada, this is called ''Pâté chinois'' , we make it with grounded beef, than a mix of creamed corn and whole kernel corn, than mashed potatoes, and we eat it with Ketchup! It is a child's favorite and a very popular dish!
    ''Bon appétit!''

  18. You are my hero! So many things that I buy like herbs and stock, you have taken the extra time to make homemade! Thank you for sharing these ideas!
