You can find the printable recipes here:

$5 Taco Soup:

Ingredients I bought for the Taco Soup:
Ground Turkey $2.77
Black Beans $0.62
Diced Tomatoes $0.72
Corn $1.18
$5.29 – but it would be under $5 if they had the cheaper corn

$5 Broccoli Cheddar Soup:

Ingredients for the Cheddar Soup I bought:
Whipping Cream $2.16
Onion $0.50
4 cups broccoli $0.84
2 cups cheddar cheese $1.86

$5. 36 – The Whipping Cream was expensive – You could also use whole milk and it would be a LOT Cheaper!

Little More that $5 Vegetable Tortellini (ha ha):

1 can of rotel $0.60
1 zucchini chopped $0.75
1 cup chopped carrots $0.50 (only used half the bag)
5 oz of frozen spinach (Was $1.00 but you only need half of it so $0.50)
1 container of sour cream ($1.00)
1 package of tortellini $2.98

Total: $6.33 – A little more than $5, but this makes A LOT of soup!

Ingredients and how to make it:
1 can of rotel
1 zucchini chopped
1 cup chopped carrots
5 oz frozen spinach
8 oz sour cream
1 package of tortellini
4 cups of water
4 chicken bullion cubes
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon parsley
1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder

Instructions:
Combine all in ingredients in a stock pot or slow cooker EXCEPT the sour cream and tortellini. Slow Cooker: Cook on low for 4 hours. Stock Pot: Cook until all the vegetables are cooked. When done on either one, stir in sour cream and tortellini. Stir frequently to prevent clumping in the sour cream. When the tortellini is done cooking, dish up and serve!

  1. Bouillon cubes are outrageously salty and that's about all the flavor they have. You can make amazing bone broth the next time you have a rotisserie chicken, by just throwing the bones with some poultry seasoning and 2 quarts of water into the instant pot and hitting the soup button. I'm serious, this is almost FREE and better than any broth you can buy in the store.

  2. Where I live it would have cost me 15 $ 😞 at least 30$ if I made enough for my family of 5 ( the broccoli 🥦 soup)

  3. You know…..I watch a LOT of these videos, always looking for budget friendly and easy recipes. So far yours are the BEST!…..so much fun to watch, you make it simple without all the drama, you have fun which makes me laugh with you….thanks for your videos!

  4. I just adore you!! You are so much more pleasing to watch over most of these videos, no drama….only fun! Your recipes are inexpensive (bonus) and easy to make (another bonus). I hate filing my pantry with excessive canned foods and spices, so…….THANK YOU! My new food channel to watch!

  5. You have caused me to LOVE my IP!!! We have tried ALL these receipe's and love them!!!
Thank you 6 Sisters!!!! C'est Si Bon!

  6. You should try the way I make Taco Soup! I do HB meat, rotel, chili beans (ranch style), golden hominy, a package of taco seasoning and a package of dry Ranch seasoning. I add a tall glass of water to the pot and a smidgen of minced garlic. Yum! 😋

  7. Dang that soup looks so good.! Grocery prices are quite a bit higher than that here in central Maryland though😑

  8. I wish I could buy the ingredients at the prices you got them for. Unfortunately I live in Canada and our prices are much higher. Good recipes though! 👍🏻

  9. I just looked at my freezer to see what was available. We have tortellini! Great ideas for soup. I watching this late, but you are always a joy to watch. Blessings to you and your family. Willette from Alabama. ❤️

  10. I have a Pampered Chef bread knife. I’ve had it close to 20 years & it still cuts beatifully. I don’t know what the price is now, but it’s much better to invest In high quality tools for your kitchen than getting cheap stuff that you have to replace frequently. Your high quality tools will last a long, long time & help you cook cheaper cuts of meat really well. Especially right now with grocery prices going up.

  11. The “little knob” you refer to is called the “venting knob”. You would sound more intelligent If you used the proper name. You sound like you’re scared of it. Honestly your recipes are really great, but hearing you say “the little knob” In every Instant pot recipe, is wearing a little thin. Get out your owners manuel & learn what everything is called & how it functions. Your videos will sound very well done
If you used the correct terminology.

  12. I found your video yesterday and made the taco soup today….. it was super super easy and good. I will be making the tortellini vegetable soup next week. Thank you again and hope you are doing good with your baby 💜💜💜

  13. Wow, the prices you pay are so low..our Walmart in Canada is way more. Even the GV brand. The cheese ypu paid 2 bucks for we pay 6..

  14. Did you say how long to cook the last soup in the pressure cooker for or did I just miss it 🙈😂

Love this channel its the only one I watch for pressure cooking 💕

  15. Not only the meals looks delicious BUT also your fingernail polish ( in other words they're pretty–im not a creep 😂) what color is that?????

  16. Just rinse your onion off really well with water and you'll never cry again. As in get the skin out of the way and rinse the whole onion in cold water. Boom.

  17. Everything canned based. Nothing fresh from scratch. Cheap and unhealthy! Tell us how to use fresh ingredients that are not LOADED with sodium and ticking bomb for the kidneys and our health. You can and should do better. Please!
