  1. Neato trick for getting ALL air out of freezer bag- keep kitchen sick 2/3 full…….stick bag down IN sink of water till water level above food (but not going down in bag) and close bag- removes all of air as well as vacuum sealer

  2. A simple system for labeling is to number your bags and type specifics in google sheets. Then you can just write the number instead of writing all that info every time.

  3. Can you cook these recipes in the oven or cooktop, you think? Can not use slow cooker o instant pot on our boat. Thanks

  4. I tried the avocado chicken salsa… it is like a soup with lots of liquid at the end? I am not sure what I did wrong or is it supposed to look like that? I used chicken breasts from thawed ip 20 mins as instructed. Help….

  5. If you fill the sink with water and lower the bags into it before sealing completely, the air is squeezed out of the bag. Works like a charm and makes it stack easier in the freezer. 😄

  6. I'm always late for class so I hope I can get an answer to the chicken Teriyaki. If I used a pork tenderloin, how long would I cook it frozen in the IP? All these years using the IP, I've never went from frozen so this is a new learning curve for me. I never froze meats or chicken but I lost my husband in March 2020 and found myself having to get a job after almost 40 years, so now I freeze because I can't go to the store as often.

  7. I love the instant pot so much! I have made quinoa, chicken, chili, asparagus MyBest.Kitchen and yogurt in it so far. The only thing that didn't work great was the asparagus. I cooked it for 1 minute and it was still overdone. It is a timesaver and uses much less energy than my gas stove.

  8. I made the teriyaki chicken in my IP and it looks very soupy… I’m really not sure what to do with this… are you supposed to shred the chicken?

  9. The Creamy Italian Chicken as a freezer meal idt works very well. I made this and it was more like chicken soup then something I would call "creamy chicken" unless I really messed this simple recipe up.

  10. Can you PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE come out with a Six Sister freezer meal cookbook? Like PRETTY PLEASE. I am in a situation where I am freezer cooking for my family and our grandparents. I love your large family / small family format along with slow cooker and IP cooking instructions. Our family goal is that grandma no longer has to make meals from scratch anymore so the freezer meals – are a good options so that she might only have to make a quick side dish. Between my sister in law and myself she should have a bit of variety. She is 95 and still living independently.

  11. I really love your recipes but I was wondering if have any cook & freeze meals for either the slow cooker or the instant pot because it would be much easier for me if it was already cooked I am disabled & it's hard to do all the prep work so I am trying to do meals I can make & freeze I would really appreciate if u had any of those kinda meals

  12. I am new to dump and go cooking. Once cooking the prepped bags, do you find the flavours and overall quality better using the IP or SC? Or is the difference insignificant, and convenience of either device is most important?
