  1. Definitely saving this video for future reference! So here are the time stamps for those with the same idea 🙂
    2:00 Hawaiian meatballs
    6:47 Chicken tacos
    9:17 BBQ country style ribs
    13:01 Philly cheesesteak sandwiches
    16:21 Pork Chile verde

  2. Can I just confirm (sorry, never cooked in an instant pot before), but you take these meals out of the freezer and put them in the instant pot frozen and set to cook for the instructed amount of time? Is that correct? They don’t need to be thawed out first? TYI.

  4. They always talk about how many minutes instant pot takes. But that's when it's up to temperature and it takes a while to get there so it's more than eight minutes

  5. I just found this video. I am just getting into meal prepping because I live in a "Jack Sprat" situation and have physical issues that make cooking difficult. These recipes are all things even my mother-in-law can eat and cook if they are prepped ahead of time. Also, I finally learned the hype over instant pots, so thank you.

  6. American cooking 😢😢😢😢😢 Simply pre-blend spices n herbs, add fresh and simple ingredients in. I just pre make soup.and freeze it. It takes no time to make healthy simple fresh food, not from freezee.

  7. The idea is great. Thank you ladies. Nevertheless I’m a bit concerned about mixing freezed ingredients with ingredients at room temperature and putting the whole package back in a freezer. On top of that, if you want to eat really healthy please DO NOT AD factory made ingredients! They are full of preservatives and taste enhancers.

  8. Great video and information but I cringed every time she said, "costed". It's cost (present, past, and future tense).

  9. These all look delicious however, some of them have too much spicy things in them that my stomach cant handle anymore.

  10. Hi I’ve just found your channel and I’m hooked! One question that is not directly related to the instant pot which I’m going to get but what do you think about the ninja with the air fryer compared to the instant pot? There’s not much difference in price. What do you think????? Jacinta

  11. Love this content. Would love to see from freezer to table videos. One comment said you already had these videos. So many great videos on your channel though. I couldn't find it. Could you put name of video to make it easier to find if possible. I would greatly appreciate it. It might be self explanatory to others but I am hopeless in kitchen and could use all the help I can get. Thanks again.

  12. We had a chance to make all of these.

Price wise we were a bit more than video stated, but inflation has been crazy, so understandable. For my thoughts on the recipes:

The meatballs honestly was my least fav, but still good. With the pressure cook time, the bell peppers came out mush and pretty much just the skins left, but still good overall. Possibly the brands that I chose, but somewhat bland, but again far from bad, and it gave me several lunches for work.

Country style ribs we just did today, very very good…a whole bottle of bbq sauce was a little too much, however we just decided to serve it on buns and have it be like a sloppy Joe. Quantity wise, it wasn’t much, our gallon bags were less than half full using recipe quantities. We will make again, but definitely will change the amounts.

Chicken tacos were good, cook time could have gone a little longer as the meat was still a little firm and didn’t shred easily, but chicken breasts vary in size greatly, I think the ones we used were on the larger end of that so we just cooked a little longer. We had these in burritos and they were great, but we had leftover filling, so the next day we had them on nachos with olives, cheddar and other toppings and it was incredibly good.

The pork chile verde was by far my favorite. The tomatillos and salsa verde gave an exceptional and unique flavor to the pork. We had a few pork loin roasts in the freezer, so I opted to use these instead of buying more and they worked perfectly, very little fat and shred tender and flavorful. We served this over basmati rice and it was just phenomenal!

This was also our first venture into freezer meal preps, I’m sick of buying groceries that the family doesn’t eat then wasting so much, and shopping and cooking daily wasn’t fantastic either. My son helped me last weekend prep these and it took close to an hour. And the fact that I can come home and dump one of these in the instant pot and have a wonderful dinner done shortly after with very little cleanup if AMAZING! So even though all five recipes were not a home run here…we did have some favs. But more importantly we learned some game changing meal prep methods, and I’m grateful for SixSis’s 👍
